I think he isn't in Manchester, but the two clubs reached an agreement for the bid and his agent will negociate it.

can't confirm or deny it, mate.
Zeman is a very cool and reserved manager, very shy even more than Bob, to go public with his own real thoughts.
Certainly, considering his idea of football, if he had not insisted to bring Veratti with him from Pescara, You should think that he is fine with DDR to lead the show in mid park.
Totti is a different matter, as he's certainly down to the fading curve and, while he's the true skipper, breed and born captain and Roma legend, the Club can't afford his unsustainable wages.
Zeman is certainly that kind of manager who loves to built on prospects, ala Arsene.

all in all, what makes me confident and I do consider more relevant than Zeman's will is:
a) Roma (as any other Italian Club) desperatly needs fresh and real money (figures reported of a £25-28mils deal, equivalent to € 32-35mils.)
b) DDR never spoke out to chill down the rumors
c) DDR for sure is tempted by the idea of chasing top honours and challenge himself with the demands of English Footy (which he always said to be amused and intrigue by)

2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

I think the enigma is all about who is gonna loosing face in front of the fans.
Club wants the money, for sure, but would very much prefer to present it as a player's choice. while De Rossi ain't that stupid. I've found tonight article of Il Messaggero (Rome's traditional paper) a typical made up representation of that comedy canvas.

So what´s your gut feeling then? Do you think DDR will try to present it as being forced out to help the clubs finances or is this another taking of the marriage vows for the giallorossi

dunno know, Mate.
I felt very positive since tonight, for all the reasons posted before.
Half hour ago, have been reported quotes from Zeman, in the after match of today friendly: "I think Daniele will stay with us. I've spoken to the Club and they know that he is important to me"... also confirmed he has been rang several times by Mancini either this summer and last season (for Veratti, i suppose)
My gut feeling is that De Rossi is gonna confirm in front of the press his commitment to Rome, but I don't think that will be the end of the story. I still consider that if / when 25+ mil euro will be put on the plate, the Club won't refuse to seal the deal. I also saw a couple of article saying that as it stands, City have only made an informal offer of 15 mil euro to be paid on swift remittance: obviously declined.

If he's going to hold a press conference just to say he's staying, we should send a squad over to pelt the cunt with rotten tomatoes.

He could just say that now, without all the fucking about.

Got the love this quote though

"Has Mancini have ever called me? Several times, even when I was at Pescara last year. The last time I heard from him was three weeks ago. "
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I am gutted about this. Earlier this summer i wasen't that interested in our transfer policy because i was convinced we can handle everyone with this squad, but i forgot something.

I forgot that those fuckers will try to stop us in every single way possible, like they did with Kun last night. We don't look that good without Micah, Gaz Baz and Kun and god forbids if something will happen with Yaya, Silva or Nasri.

If we miss him, that means we missed our last five major targets: Sanchez, Sneijder, Hazard, RVP and now de Rossi.

Bobby has every right to have a row with Marwood.

Well, you would think that he might have a hand in it, being the manager and all that.

What interests me about this De Rossi business is how it's being played out in the media. The Italian press seem to be saying that he will not be leaving whilst the British press seem to be giving it more of a wide berth, as if they'd rather ignore it, didn't want it too happen.

Personally, I don't think there's a cat in hells chance of him coming, even with Bobby's interventions. It's not about our club, it's only about his.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
