Speaking of BBC intro's, did anyone notice on the new Football Focus ones that all the clips were from last season (quite correctly) with the snidey inclusion of Shrek's overhead kick against us ... Bias BBC cents

I didn't see the start, but saw the end with Jossie's Giants and clips from last season, with a very quick one of Vinnie's goal against the rags and no sign of a trophy. Hopefully next week they'll remember to show who's defending it this year!

I met Mick McCarthy once. It was at the penultimate game at Maine Road (vs. Sunderland) on my 18th birthday. Really nice fella. I saw him out on the pitch before kick-off. He was just having a wander around, and was telling me what 'fond memories' he had 'of this place'. I liked a him a lot after the incident with Roy Kunt; I loved him after seeing his affection for City.
