You know what. Id like to blame that on my phones autocorrect but since I can't recreate it I may have to take that one and humbly move forward asking for forgiveness.

Related, have you read Nostromo?

Cheers

Nope. I stick to the literary canon (and only buy greatest hits album).

Hear there has finally been a breakthrough on Adebayor joining Tottenham and all parties expect it to be confirmed this week.

Seems like he got his signing on fee in lieu of reduced wages - probably paid for by us.

I just hope it's not worded as a 'loyalty bonus' or I'll tear my hair out (what little of it I still have left).

Yep, I wonder what the deal was.

Must've been Mancini who got him out, no way could Marwood have sorted this.

Ted knew something was wrong that morning but as his eyes searched for a familiar shape, any shred of comfort to take away the sharp sensation of reality bursting into his brain like a Nigel DeJong tackle, as a myriad of shapes danced in front of his eyes, nothing made any sense. Concentrate.

The blind on the window was the first thing; swinging like Bobby Charlton's hair in a forlorn, fruitless, hopeless chase after Colin Bell Why ?

Why couldn't he see ? What was wrong ? What was all the noise ?

The window.

He had flashbacks; a girl, empty bottles, the heat of a summer night but now, he was cold.

The window was wide open.

North wind howling like Ryan Giggs after a perceived injustice, he must close the window but wait...

He was still pissed.

Ted couldn't be arsed anymore & went back to sleep.

Well, good luck, Ade. Thanks for the memory (followed by a ban). We'll all miss you. Pop back and see us anytime you're in the area.

He'll score 5 in the next 3 and then lose interest until he plays us

No chance Marwood would have been allowed to do this, not as Director of Scapegoats.

That says it all about him really. I've always rated him very highly - before we signed him, whilst he was playing for us, and since he's been out of the picture. He just seems like a very strange guy. He was onto a good thing both here and at Arsenal and both came to nothing because he can't just get on with his job without winding his manager. He's got another good move now. Will it work out? I just can't see it. Still, last-chance saloon for him so who knows.

He should be okay for the time being as he will have no competition for places at Spurs.Defoe was the only recognised forward at the club on the weekend.

Cheerioi Manu, I had plenty of time for you through the suspensions, the african cup tragedy, the leaks to the tabloids, the lazy performances, the falling out with the managers & team-mates, when you slagged off our support whilst at Real Madrid I was done....

p.s. thanks for stamping on van persie

Maybe we should make an offer for the spuds guy who got Ade to go to them, cos if he can talk Ade out of a contract the genius had offered him he must be good.
