Spurs have got a bargain for 5 million quid,5 million fucking quid for a striker that scored 17 goals in the league,Wolves want 15 for Fletcher who is shit.

While I agree that they got him for too little money, the fact that he DID bang in 17 goals last season and yet no one else but Spurs showed genuine interest on him tells you all you need to know about him. He is poison in dressing room and performs only when he feels like it. I think he will have down season having guaranteed yet another big deal. Next time you'll see him performing well (apart from against us of course) is when his contract is on the line again.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

More to do with the wages that no one else showed a genuine interest.

Bollocks.
Since Adebayor never submitted written transfer request he was anyway entitled to all of the base salary in remainder of his contract. People never seem to be aware of that fact.

It took sometime to sort this deal out, interesting enough what took the deal so long to conclude. Glad we didn't pay him the transfer fee, and we're not paying any part of him wages.
