Good luck AJ. The boys got talent no doubt.

Good piece on him on the OS with a vid of his 15 goals for us. Nice touch

Yes, it is a great piece on the OS.

Here's the link for anyone who hasn't seen it:

let's hope he starts then as that usually caused the shocker.

Hope he realises that he's wasted his big chance and gets his head down. Plenty of time for partying when he retires.

Would have liked him to stay and be a super-sub but understand why he wants to move on. Good deal for everyone

very sorry to see him go - terrific ability and wonderful left foot. As mentioned in thisthread I think, he played his part last season with some influential and telling contributions in his limited appearances. I thought he was capable of becoming a City legend, but for whatever reason it won't be relised now.

I hope the stories about him pissing it away are not true, but he wouldn't be the first I guess. I wish him the very best and will keep an eye on his performances for thw mackems - good luck AJ

Thank you AJ, good luck, now fuck off and don't come back you silly shit head. Could have ruled the world with us, instead he will fade into nothingness. Waste of talent, just like Pennant, Bentley, Downing, Duff, Dunn to name but a few. He should have been our Giggs.

Really sad to see him go. Exciting player who let ego stop him being a great.

You see it all the time, for players on today's money tho, they really should just suck it up, listen to the boss and do their job!

With AJ gone and Swansea signing the Korean lad from Celtic, Sinclair will sign for us in the next two days I reckon. Not rocket science, but it does seem to be pointing in that direction.
Also, after Bobs pre-match press conference today, did anyone notice a little smirk on his face when asked about transfers? He knows we're getting someone good in! Either that or he knows how to wind us up.

I am not surprised he left, just surprised how quick it happened! AJ seemed to start out real well
but then got into some arguments with Mancini over training and partying. I remember
Mancini commenting on AJ's drinking, saying he should stick to the women. Guess that's how
they do it in Italy.
Anyway, I hope the best for him. He has the talent to play every weekend in the PL and maybe just
needs regular playing time to put a fire under his ass. Good luck, kid!

Good move for both. AJ was always overrated IMO and was a liability going backwards. To win the league back to back and win in Europe you need your players to play at both ends of the pitch AJ couldn't do that. Plus against better fullbacks he had no idea how to beat them and with his pace that's poor, because he certainly will have been told. Milner doesn't have these issues and has improved under Mancini, why didn't AJ?

Bet he scores against us though, they always do.

Next question is who is coming in? Scott Sinclair in all likelihood as a direct replacement for AJ ... but will that be it this window? Rodwell and Sinclair? Who else? Papers tonight have all picked up on how Mancini hasn't given up on DeRossi yet and City's reps expect to meet him in next 48 hours ...

I'm gonna miss the fact that for what he does he was the most exciting player in our squad.

Really loved watching him skin a fullback.
