Chill the fucking beans pal ffs.

You can't make an omelette without breaking a few fucking eggs.

And we have some fucking omelette.

We went through the faze of having to overpay to attract players that wouldn't normally have come. Then we went through the faze of bringing in top quality as we grew.

We're now going through the faze of having to let some players go to other clubs in order to show we will not be made cunts of.

That is the faze we're currently in and it's a case of dealing with it, not fucking whinging and wondering why.

Especially when the window is not yet closed.

Exactly, we won the league ffs and have the spine of a very good team. We are at the stage where we only need minor adjustments rather than having to pay way over the odds.
Hazard would have been great but we have Tevez, Aguerro, Nasri and Silva- four of the best attacking players in the world (except Nasri possibly but he's improving) - I'll settle for them.

Swansea v Sunderland
Aston Villa v Swansea
Swansea v Everton
Stoke v Swansea
Swansea v Reading
Swansea v Wigan
Man City v Swansea

Swansea's next 7 fixtures, not beyond the realms of possibility they could have a 100% record when they come to us.

agreed. worth whatever bungtastic crap chelsea had to deliver upon.

Dunno why we decided to get all fucking self-righteous about our buying strategy when he was a piece of the puzzle -- a world class fucking winger -- that we really needed.

He'll run-out of steam, that's when I'll get rid of him as my Dream Team Captain ;-)

Quality player and with their additions I'd put Chelsea as favourites.

Jesus, we don't play and Hazard is given POTY and RVP scores goal of the season. What a shit weekend.

Or to put it another way, we're still above the rags having played half as many games as they have. We have the same team that won the league last season minus Johnson (but, potentially, plus Tevez). Yes, we only won it on goal difference, but that was the highest ever points total for second place and I think the second highest winning total. We also hold the record for the most consecutive home wins (which can be extended next week and for the rest of the season).

Or to put it a third way, stop fucking flapping.

Not second highest winning total.

Rags about 3-4 years back got 90, Chavski got 95 in their first winning season. Might be third.

Edit: Really got this wrong:
Rags 08-09: 90pts
Rags:06-07: 89pts
Chavski 05-06: 91pts
Chavski 04-05: 95pts
Arsenal 03-04: 90pts
Rags99-00: 91pts

There were a couple from the 94-95 season and before, but that was the 22 team league.

what I want to know is; are people still keen to defend the leather-faced spastic??

'We will see what happens in the next few days. He feels there is no one at the club doing the transfer dealing for him and he has been left with just 19 players for the new season. He is angry, as you can imagine.

‘He is ambitious, he has just won the Premier League and wants to win the Champions League. But he can’t do that without the right support.

‘He isn’t about to walk out on City but if nothing else happens before the transfer window closes this could be his last season at City. I wouldn’t rule out a move elsewhere next season.’

There is still tension between Mancini and City chief executive Brian Marwood.

It's an article in the Daily Fail and the quotes are from "sources close to Mancini"......but I would not be surprised if said sources had been asked to plant that by Roberto

He must be fuming

Ummm, Daily Mail...you mean the paper that seems to be holding some sort of personal vendetta against City and you're quoting them?

The same paper that 'reported' a burning effigy of Tevez under a bridge and yet their photographer was there before it was set alight with not one single person in camera shot?

Selling clubs already know we're minted, how is it helpful if they also believe we have no choice but to meet their asking price, otherwise our managerial team implodes?

It's either blackmail or bollocks. I'll go with the latter.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer

Just watcher motd. If we want to bolster midfield and de Rossi is too much, what about a cheeky bid for dembele? He was outstanding and would potentially be a great squad edition.
