I will be over the blue moon with a 0-3 win. This history of us not winning there for some years has to end today.
I just hope we do it in style and play well as a team.

we have not won there in about 9 years. Hard to see us getting a 0-3, although that would be nice.

I have no doubt that we will win today. Suarez will rip those plastic knobs a new one, Gerrard will show them why he is one of the best midfielders and everybody else will make us proud. Man City will not be able to handle the amazing atmosphere we will create and shit themselves. Man City might have the money but they will never have a History and fans like ours. Lets show the plastic twats why we are the greatest club. YNWA

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Man City

...I honestly think that we will beat Man City this weekend. I will now analyse our team and give reasons for my prediction.

My predicted line up:

----------------Reina----------------
Johnson-Skrtel-Coates-Enrique
-----------Lucas-Allen--------------
-------------Gerrard-----------------
Borini------Suarez-----Assaidi/Downing----

Reina- Top class, nothing else to be said
Johnson- One of the best RB's in EPL and in the world. Great attacking and defending.
Skrtel- Monster. A real threat from set-pieces and a solid player all-round. He will be back stronger than ever from the poor game at WBA.
Coates- The future of Liverpool. His goal vs QPR last season showed us his true quality. I reckon he is good enough to deal with Man City's attack.
Enrique- Although had a disappointing end to last season, I reckon he will rise to the top of his ability.
Lucas- He is great, no two ways around it. One of the best DM in the world. He will boss the midfield this season.
Allen- Xabi Alonso 2.0. He is just what we needed. He has great vision and an eye for pass.
Gerrard- Legend of Liverpool, he is always there for us. I think he will have an amazing season and a great game vs Man City.
Borini- We have seen his class in Europa League. He is a great finisher- just what we need. I think he is the new Fillipo Inzaghi.
Suarez- WHAT A PLAYER. He will be key this season and against Man City.
Assaidi/Downing- We know about Downing but I think he can still be a good player for us, I don't see why not. Assaidi looks like quite a player from what I have seen on Youtube, if he starts I see him causing lots of problems to the Man City fullbacks with his trickery and pace.

As you can see, our team is very good and we can win the game.

My Prediction is:Liverpool 2-1 Man City
Suarez x 2

I love RAWK. The referee was awful at Anfield (both times) last season, hoping for better later today. 1-1 for me.

Anfield is always a tricky place to go no matter how progressively shitter Liverpool are becoming. Can't remember the last time we won there. Having said that we should win, although will probably be a very scrappy encounter.

Never confident going to Anfield, even less-so now I've seen the 4 stars.

Worse liverpool squad in my lifetime. Not going to give the twats any respect because after last season they dont deserve it.

City to win by 4 and skrtel to be sent off to give the whinging twats an excuse to cling on to

You beat me to it, considering last season's league table plus this season's current table we're facing scouse two today.

Up until last night reading up previews mostly from our side or neutrals ... I wasn't too optimistic and was hoping for a 1-0 win for us ... but this morning after reading up on quite a few their end previews and their perspectives, I am actually feeling quite bullish for our chances this time around ... what we did to the Scum and Spurs last year at their grounds 6-1 and 5-1 ... I reckon we will do to Liverpool and Arsenal this season.

Chelsea however is looking a completely different outfit already, and probably would (actually should) beat the Rags to second spot.

That is well worth a cheeky bet. Form he's in, City are due a performance, and Liverpool look like dog shit wrapped in a kebab.

Oh dear oh dear, how blinkered can some football fans be?

...I honestly think that we will beat Man City this weekend. I will now analyse our team and give reasons for my prediction.

My predicted line up:

----------------Reina----------------
Johnson-Skrtel-Coates-Enrique
-----------Lucas-Allen--------------
-------------Gerrard-----------------
Borini------Suarez-----Assaidi/Downing----

Reina- Top class, nothing else to be said. Apart from when he has howlers. Would have him as backup to Joe, nothing more.
Johnson- One of the best RB's in EPL and in the world. Great attacking and defending. Flashes of brilliance, most of the time distinctly average, and, like Kolarov, not actually very good at defending
Skrtel- Monster.Agree. Oh, you meant how he plays. right.
Coates- The future of Liverpool. His goal vs QPR last season showed us his true quality. I reckon he is good enough to deal with Man City's attack. He's not good enough to deal with Man City's tealadies. If this is the future of Liverpool, they'll soon be Scouse 3, behind Tranmere. He scored a goal, though, apparently.
Enrique- Although had a disappointing end to last season, I reckon he will rise to the top of his ability. Decent wingback, injured isn't he?
Lucas- He is great, no two ways around it. One of the best DM in the world. He will boss the midfield this season. Good player.
Allen- Xabi Alonso 2.0. He is just what we needed. He has great vision and an eye for pass.LMFAO. Xabi Alonso 0.1, maybe.
Gerrard- Legend of Liverpool, he is always there for us. I think he will have an amazing season and a great game vs Man City.
Has-been, but will probably score them a long-range screamer to open the scoring before we net 4.
Borini- We have seen his class in Europa League. He is a great finisher- just what we need. I think he is the new Fillipo Inzaghi.
I think he is the new Boselli. Utter shit.
Suarez- WHAT A PLAYER. He will be key this season and against Man City. Only saving grace. Racist twat. Hope Mario goes up and nuts him
Assaidi/Downing- We know about Downing but I think he can still be a good player for us, I don't see why not. Assaidi looks like quite a player from what I have seen on Youtube, if he starts I see him causing lots of problems to the Man City fullbacks with his trickery and pace.
Don't know about Assaidi, but Downing? Even the poster admits he's shit, but might still come good in 2 years time, when he's left.
As you can see, our team is very good and we can win the game.As you can see, I am a deluded football fan with no link to reality and am going to get a nasty bump when the Champions turn up and fuck up my world.

My Prediction is:Liverpool 2-1 Man City
Suarez x 2
My Prediction is: Scouse 3 1-4 Man City
Suarez sent off.

Sounding too easy reading this thread but we know it's never easy at Anfield and especially so after they lost the first game and the doom mongers are out for them.A draw won't be a bad game but I expect one hell of a scrap and hope for a one goal win of some kind.

If Mario starts I hope he finishes!

plenty of very saucy and intriguing "news" and rumors to comment: sadly it's just of those sundays when I barely can get enough free time to enjoy my beloved Blues getting out the tunnel and play...

so, just here to shout:

I love YOU BLUE LADS, I will sing the BLUES every day louder, come rain or shine, comes Wembley or Gillingham, comes Mancini or Steve_the-Fucling-Elephant_BRUCE!

COME ON CITEH! LET'S THRASH THOSE BUNCH OF RED SCOUSES!

... and please NIGE, ffs, it ain't Official if it ain't got 5 ***** stars. we have already kept the breath for it when we had been 1-2 down last gameweek... just saying, Mate... ;)

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...
