Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

too bad to be true.
plenty of time to turn it upside down, considering what clever(ly) noted about the oposition: it's just us making them good.

Would feel more comfortable if Dameerto would make his traditional, renowned, very effective call to faith.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Something has to change. We need to toughen up and be more precise otherwise they are going to bully us.
Sort it out boys. Come out and smash them.

Quite disappointed with that. Started off quite well but over-run for the last 25 mins. We're getting dragged around and we're left with players well out of position, we're not understanding the system. The Toure brothers look lost, especially Kolo, and Vince looks like he's not happy without Lescott.

As for going forward, why do we keep playing Mario on the left, put him as our centre for fuck sake and let Tevez play off him. Have we not got 5 in midfield?

Let's see what Mancini can do to change it as we either need to go back to 4 at the back or exert some pressure up top.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

How can he have faded from not being involved at all in the first 25 minutes??? Overall we had good possession in the 1st 25 and looked ok without really doing anything of note. Then Scouse started to get going and we started to look ragged.

In an attacking sense we seem to just have Tevez with pretty well all the rest anonyomous. Defensively, although it seems we are supposed to boo Kolo judging by what I heave read here, I think has been one of our best players barring the odd scary moment near the half way line.Shame abouit the goal but it shows what a perfect delivery can do against zonal marking with a big guy attacking.Kolaraov was marking him but seemed to be blocked by Zaba.

Lets see what RM does.

This. We started off well, they finished off well. The whole team needs to work alot harder. I predicted 3-1, they've got their one. Stay positive.

How could he, Beef? Bobby plays him were Vinnie hates, as a left footy central defender. Every time he played there he looked lost.

Really average at the moment.started decent but insistence on not using the wide men is killing us.
Change the formation back imo.

I am still very much confused by that pick! we have just two first choice, excellent CBs, and ffs, they MUST start anywhen available.

I don't think anyone has been that bad, nor Liverpool been very good. Two teams playing average standard football imo, one of whom has scored.

The big problem with this system imo, as i said v Chelsea is 1 Kolarov has to defend at times & 2 Yaya is fucking awful defensively, so we end up with a hole in half the pitch in front of our defence. Tevez would have a party playing against that.

Nasri needs to get on the ball & feed Mario though. He's not influencing the game enough. As Lurch says, Mario is making the runs.

my HT contribution: dunno why some are calling Kolo - think he's played well. i'd take kolarov off, but with clichy and richards missing we only have one FB in zabaleta, problem.
