Players look lost when it's going against us, unsure of what's being asked of them. That's what happens when you change the system with a number of player changes. We did well though to get the draw and to be fair we shouldn't be complaining. A point gained rather than 2 lost.

Not great, improved from the 1st half, got a result. What's more to say.

PS. Actually, I blame the 4 stars.

i'd be happy with Jovetic, a solid, classy CB and Sinclair. no one else out.

That's what's needed to sort it I think; a week of the old defensive team drills again & lining up with our tried & tested system. We didn't do enough practice on it pre season & we need to get back to it, then ease in this system in lesser games if we are going to use it, preferably when we're 3 up.

Forgot to mention; it was crying out for the pace that Sinclair will bring today. Several times we had the chance to break but we needed a player like him (or Bellamy) to make the best of it.

It's a strange habit Bob has sometimes of making unusual team decisions for big games. I doubt anyone would think we wouldn't have been better with Lescott playing & our usual formation.

The upside was Silva & Dzeko (even though he should have scored) looked good when they came on & imo when Rodwell settles down, he is going to be a real asset.

The puzzle for me is Mario, because I think he tried really hard, he made some great runs, but the team didn't look right with him in it.

We have seen today that Kolarov is a creative force at times but can't defend even against a kid from the reserve team. Kolo gives the ball away much more than Lescott & isn't fit to clean his boots as a defender FACT.

Think you've summed it up pretty well there.

I just Kolo as an accident waiting to happen. He seems to always be chasing back to get into position, and when he plays we move Vinny to the left which means Vinny isn't at his best. Lescott HAS to play next week.

Kolarov should be back on the bench next week once Clichy is back.

I thought Balotelli did well today, and did work hard. When he was on though, Tevez played as the target man with Balotelli playing wide. Would we be better off having Balotelli playing as the target man and then Tevez can play in a free/floating role behind him?

A bad game, I think the blame for the second goal Hart set a bad wall, the ball went right to the wall. Receiving a lot of goals but luckily we still score a lot .

was starting to think that myself. It's almost as if he picked a side to show what it'd look like if we lost a few players injured to say to others 'are you happy with this?'.

Ted, the system was tested in every single pre-season game this year and in a trophy game and it didn't work. It's not like he wanted that Friday and today he used it.

This system is by far Bobby's biggest mistake and i really don't understand why he wants to change the system that brought him titles and Inter and us. What the hell is he thinking? Only Bobby can respond that to us.

So would I, if we can't get DeRossi but he would have run that game today. (Martinez would have looked like an asthmatic giraffe imo)

Jovetic's boss says not for sale though, Cavani too expensive.

I was not impressed with our performance today but lets be honest, whether we play a shite Liverpool or a great Liverpool team, Anfield is Anfield so we are lucky to get a point. I hope the best squad will play next week. We shouldn't dare underestimate QPR

I don't think we had many who played well today but Mario was sure as hell not one of them.

How can anyone say we should have lost 4 nil when they didnt even get 4 shots on target. We were poor,we are told LPool were excellent ( reallY!!) but we came away with a draw and were behind twice. Great quality to do that and we nearly nicked it.

Everyone is for sale for the right price, especially a Fiorentina player. Juve are sniffing around as well, talks of an arrangement for next season.

Lovely player. Scored both goals yesterday to see off Udine 2-1, the second in injury time was pretty sweet.

yeah i don't believe we can get DDR, and if Jovetic's off the market then i think we need the following, and unfortunately i don't know the players:

a CB
a creative cover in "the hole"
a winger

that is all.

Two big defensive errors for both teams. We should have picked up skirtel at the corner and Joe didn't set up his wall far enough to his left and suarez spotted it and curled in a beauty. We didn't look to bad defensively in open play but at times we were overwhelmed in mid field. We also seemed to lack a creative cutti g edge up front with mario and carlos playing together. May a change of piring up front for the QPR game. Opinions?

I meant to say maybe a change of pairing up front for QPR. Sorry about the dodgey spelling.
