Mate, the Ultimate Owners of the italian Rags, since they had been forced to splash 99 millions euro in the previous financial year, these days to write off their debts, have closed a factory that was surreally opened thousands of miles from the core of European markets (i.e. Sicily) with MASSIVE contribution of the Taxpayers, plus they have just offloaded, indefinitely, to the Italian Social Security, all the workmen of a second Italian based plant (yet again, opened with contribution of public money).

Now, I see, You might have a standing point by countering: "What's the news? it's Italy, after all!".... but.....

I don't think this is bollox just because Ragventus are poor financially, but because there is no way in the world that Bobby will let big Ed go, while he doesn't have something reliable to replace him in a second. To be fair, maybe Cavani or Falcao will step up, between the others can't see any reliable.
They couldn't affort RVP, imagine Dzeko who still manage to score a shitload of goals. Without 30 mil at least there is no chance in Earth that he could leave.

Mancini will not let Edin go...for one, he seems to have found a way to utilize him adequately...Southampton match has shown that...and another thing Italian media have been harping on about some Susic guy (who is our NT manager's brother), naming him as Edins manager just to stirr some shit up...as Edin said there is nothing i it...he'll stay and bag in more goals that he did last yeas...

Well, Napoli are playing away at Palermo and Cavani plays. Same goes with De Rossi.

According to twitter, we are interested in Adel/Adil Rami from Valencia, the big defender.

Don't know if true, but he doesn''t play at this moment for them and he is not injured.

Apparently City have a agreement with Fiorentina for defender Nastasic £12M and Savic.

I am Italian but I confess that I dunno nothing of him (been a great fan of SERIE A footy along the last 10 years to say the least - lol) but whatsoever quality this Nastasic is, I'm sure that Ted will be up to buy me a pit if the deal will be sealed. I suspect I can even get drunk, cuz Ted would not be alone...

Peter Morrison a football agent also referring to stories we've shifted Savic. Surely whatever else happens we'll get in a centre back. We cannot afford another January disaster.

I see the Swansea chairman is a little sore because City didn't bend over and take whatever fee they thought we should pay for Sinclair.

Can't Rodwell play centre back?

Kompany, Lescott, Toure, Richards, Rodwell, Rekik.
We could actually sell Savic without making an immediate replacement if that's what we want to do. We'd probably be advised to pick up someone in January, but at least we wouldn't need to panic buy.

I think he played a lot as a defender when Jagielka had that major injury i while back. Can't remember if he was good.

The Times claiming that Walcott has turned down a new deal at Arsenal and will leave this week, this is on the back of the Mirror claiming we were preparing an offer. Don't buy it myself, but might explain why we didn't fight for Sinclair.
