i can totally understand why it took weeks to get this one sorted. What a challenging negotiation it must have been squabbling over that last 1.2M for the last 10 days while we rolled around in wheelchairs on the pitch looking for anyone who could run since we're missing Kun.

Huw Jenkins is a clever man. It'll be sell-on clauses and additionals we've been squabbling over.

Fucker is gonna play about 200 minutes in the prem if he is lucky. They won't be getting any additional money.

It will have been delayed in order to get the AJ deal completed & then pushed back whilst we concentrated on the Liverpool game.

I just wish we'd concentrated a bit better! :-)

6.2m half the price we got for johnson, makes sense seen as though we are getting half the player! At this stage we need a few bodies in, our squad looks light on paper.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny though. I had my campaign or whatever and people like you were calling me pantomine villain, which clearly you still do. But time has proved, on this one occasion, that I was dead right.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Maybe we were just waiting to make sure that Johnson left. We could have agreed the fee straight away after that but Sinclair may have to sort things out with Swansea first.

Its not a signing to get excited about. Is he going to be able to make much of an impact? hard to see it.

i literally came back into this thread to post that exact thing.

and i believe the same will happen wrt to the rant i've been on when we get an actual executive crew running some footballing shit instead of the confusing joke we've somehow hobbled through, with ultimately satisfactory results until this summer.

Well, let's face it. We fucked everything up the day we sold Stephen Ireland. If we'd have kept him we wouldn't have lost a game last season and wouldn't need to sign anyone.

that's a desperate response.

You should have done high school debate instead of smoking cigarettes with the cool kids and listening to bad 90s alt-rock records after school.

Kid does what it says on the tin, runs quick down the left wing, shoots and crosses. No doubt Mancini will ask him to do something else.
