I'm not sure this deal is completely dead. And if it is there are to say the least lots of other fish in the sea.

He's not exactly Messi.

They are probably wanting Sinclair to hand a transfer request in so they dont have to pay him a cut.

If were after speed I would prefer Walcott.hes in the last year of his contact. Or are we after bargains only.

What makes you think we're after anyone? Don't believe all the media hype.

According to TalkSport the fee had been agreed but there was no progress on that. I presume Sinclair couldn't agree terms or a settlement

How about Affelay on loan from barca instead?? or Zaha from palace if we want young and english?

Walk away from this deal now i say, i didnt want him in 1st place and i certainly dont want us robbed over him. Dare i say we might have sold AJ abit soon?

Sounds like Swansea are panicking. No way would they want Sinclair left with them - he'd be hacked off for missing out on move to champions and no value in less that a year!

As has been said above, leave the, sweat andim sure we could get other, equally good alternatives before window closes.

Walcott rejected a new deal at Arsenal, and according to Rory Smith at the times we are interested, might explain why we didn't fight for Sinclair.

i'm not sure Walcott is even that much better than Sinclair to be frank. Sure, he's going to score more goals than Sinclair, but Theo also will take more shots on goal which he'll fuck up whereas Sinclair would be more of a role player and be team-oriented i think.

Regardless, we won't be signing either of them, so, there's also that to consider.

He's definitely better than Sinclair in my opinion, his stats for last season are pretty good 46 games, 11 goals, 13 assists, better than I expected, also, he's only 23, so the same age as Sinclair.

Not saying he's great or that i'd be thrilled with him, but I do think he's a better player.

Haha. I thought twitter rumours were banned. Let's just wait till the weekend when all the deals are done. Or will the twitter 'agents' just speculate till the January transfer window?
