Some incredible names on that list. Gabbidon, Rio Coker, Craig Gordon, Owen (lol), Heskey, Carew, Klasnic.

All recently rated players in some quarters. When you consider that Heskey was still playing for England under Capello & the press wanted Owen in the squad..

Gordon would make a decent keeper for someone, assuming the injuries haven't left permanent damage. A decent back up at least.

Hadn't realised Klasnic was that old, but again a good bet for some of the bottom of the table teams.

Reo-Coker is an odd one - leaves a well paid job and could find himself unemployed

Theo Walcott is nobody. Take away his call up in 2008 and no one would give a shit about him.

He is no where near good enough to play for us.

we're being used so he gets what he wants on his contract negotiations
I suspect we're not interested in him at all

He's a lifelong Liverpool fan (seen an Interview from 2006) and they are apparently interested. If he really leaves Arsenal, I could only see it being there. However, seems convenient that he turns down a contract then we get linked. Sounds like an agent trying to get a few more grand.

The thing with Walcott is that he's not a winger! He had and still has good pace and Wenger decided he would use him on the wing as part of his development.
He classifies himself as a striker and to be fair to him he scores more goals than a traditional winger because of this.
He can't cross a ball, he doesn't want to be a winger, we have enough strikers so as a result, why are we even being linked. If bob wants a winger, buy a winger, not a pretend one who's heart isn't in it.

Then again, he isn't physically capable of wrestling with Premier League centerbacks and is non-factor in air so he'd be pretty pointless as centerforward in team playing posession football like ourselves and Arsenal.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Clichy is actually a top quality, intelligent footballer though. Walcott is like a child on a motorbike.
