RVP thrown into the mix where already big egos of Shrek and Fregie weren't fitting in has recipe for disaster written all over it. Funny thing is, everyone thought RVP would get injured but this Rooney's injury will really shape things up nicely ... for a bust up in their dressing room that is.

For some reason I keep getting this image in my head where RVP and Rooney playing up front miss on an equalizer and cost them dropped points in a game against a lower table side at Old Trafford just because one won't pass to the other and tried to score himself ... and this follows with a fist fight between the two on the pitch, and later off the pitch Fergie joins in with slaps (and quoting someone, love bites and all) ... I would die laughing if this happens, and it really isn't too far fetched a scenario with where they stand!

I would have him at city in a heartbeat if he didn't come from them, still a quality player, just needs to be playing in a decent team.

I do not think he is coming to us, unless Tevez jumps ship between now and Friday. However cut the charade regarding how much you all would hate to see him in a City shirt.

He is an unpleasant individual but I don’t recall anyone refusing to celebrate Tevez’s goals so far this season. Anyone remember the Craig Bellamy is a c**t thread when he signed for us? I believe he is one of the very few opposition players who get a nice round of applause from us when he comes back.

If he did sign for us he would make our side better, we would also be signing one of the worlds most famous footballers which would boost are PR around the world ten fold. If he scored us 20 goals a season for the next four years, plays in a side that wins the CL and makes us the most dominate side in the league then he will be a hero to everyone.

Anyone who is pretending otherwise is just deluded.

I was all for torturing Tevez last season & I was sickened by the idea of signing Bellamy. Now, I would still have Bellamy at the club & hope Tevez is still here in 5 years. I also think Rooney would be a good player in City's team.

I also would rather eat my own dick on a sandwich than see him in a City shirt; there is no comparison between those players.

Sorry Ross but he is one player I really don't want in a City shirt.

With Tevez, Aguero et al, we don't need him and the guy seems to be full issues and ego that he could drag into our dressing room.

I think it's safe to say Bellamy divided opinions on here before and after leaving.

Many people, myself and OD to name 2, I think have always rated Tevez and respected his work ethic and attitude on the pitch.

I very much doubt anyone on here has such thoughts for Rooney right now. For me there are players that have played for united and dirty red bastards. Carlos was the former, Rooney optimizes the latter.

I'm pretty sure there's 'Chelsea Pensioners' gag in there but I can't be arsed thinking of it.
