Based on tonight's performances so far, I would rather draw Barca than Madrid in the CL

Piquet is the world's most overated player.

Mourinho has had Real playing high tempo English stlyle direct ball football & Barca can't deal with it. Then up steps Messi.

If Messi signed for us tomorrow, we would have Barca's haul of trophies & Barca's attendances for a good 5 to 8 years. Barca on the other hand would not win another La Liga as long as Mourinho stayed at Real. Without him, they are not even half the team.

Iniesta & Messi more or less took on Real on their own. Iniesta is a great player but he's a human being & still comparable to others.

If Iniesta was Holcombe Hill, Messi would be Everest. He is so much better it's beyond estimation.

Ted - how did I know you'd bring your negativity and constant pro-City point of view into this thread?

Interesting game, plenty of shots in the final few minutes.

Nice little cameo by Modric. Good player, shame he left the PL.

honestly, i think we can play with any team on the planet on our day.

We could also get run by Zenit, Schalke, or Twente as well.

cheers

True.

I thought he would develop more than he has.

Some great saves made to look easy & some horrible finishing. Good end to end finish. Expected the effort from Messi to end up in the top corner.

Mourinho's Madrid were so Chelsea tonight, pace power, battered the oppo then sat back for no apparent reason & let them back in, but scraped through. How many times did his Chelsea team take the foot off the gas like that when winning comfortably?

I think Lookmum is one of the most insulted persons on this forum. Perhaps Carl would say it's not enough but it's not like it doesn't happen Gillie. Maybe you should go to OT and tell the mods how this exchange makes you feel?

Carl & Lookmum, as you were.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

If you read the fucking posts, it was him who insulted me & got it back. I was simply talking about football when that twat stuck his fucking oar in. Who the fuck does he think he is telling people what they are allowed to post ?
