RSC: From my undertsanding, RSC had already had his operation and was in rehab to get himself sorted and back into shape. The injury was well known and it was the future RSC that we were buying.

Robinho: From the reports eminating from all sections of the media, it was Brazil who failed to diagnose the problem after he was injured on international duty. It was only when he returned and our medical staff had checked him out that the injury was uncovered. They then set him a schedule and training plan to get him back in the side and they now have been vindicated by the fact that Dunga has not played him. Nearly ready, just not quite!

Kompany: Vinny had been suffering from a toe problem months before the end of last season. I seem to remember it being reported that he was taking injections before the game to relieve the pain when we played Hamburg in the UEFA Cup. The problem was that we needed him in the side whereas now, we have cover. So, in reality, they knew exactly what was going on with him but he played on regardless due to squad depth.

Well I am more than capable of looking after myself.

As I said on this board people may call me a RAG and get away with it, as they hide behind a screen and a keyboard, but that is as big an insult to ANY City fan as you can get, I know you wouldn't tolerate someone saying that to you, so don't think or expect I will either.

When we had the start to the season, I was on here and I was praising the team as they were worthy of my praise and earning it, so when they are playing shit, I will say so, just like I did when they were playing well, you only have to go back to the threads that were active then to see that for yourself.......I don't post on every thread, just ones that I have an opinion on, and only now when we have "hit the buffers" as you say, have more threads come out to post on than there was earlier in the campaign, so I will be posting more.

If you think that I don't take pleasure in seeing City fail to win, then fool you as you really couldn't be further from the truth, the only pleasure I get from City is seeing them win, I don't even feel good when the u-18's lose (which is happening a whole lot more these days under the inept guideance of Scott Sellars) who has done nothing in coaching before to even warrant such a high post or role at this great club, also add to the fact that he has not got any City connections, and I am sure that job could have been given to Paul Power, Paul Lake, Gary Owen or Colin Bell before Mike Summerbee took three of them on, or the other opted to join Sir Jim in Abu Dhabi.

We are just going around in circles now and it is getting boring, I have already backed it up in the comments on this thread to one of the posters here, highlighting that I cannot understand why with the chance for best medical team/doctors and care around, we have settled for 2nd rate.

Doctors/Medics that take too long to diagnose a problem, the same ones who put players at risk by giving them stupid pain killing jabs that don't cure the problem just prolong it, and yet we did have other players available, even last year.....we all know who chose the team and he opted not to use them other options.

Players who have groin problems that last 2 years, sorry WW and even Beefymcfc, but groin problem is what it was reported as, and not being a doctor myself I am in no position to say whether that diagnosis was correct or not, but someone should have been, and they should have qualifications.....I question there certificate, as no groin problem takes that long to heal, fuck a broken leg heals on it's own in less time!.

As for RSC, we didn't need to sign him then, as we would never have faced competition for someone like him, and could have bought him on the final day of the window for less probably, instead we panicked and passed someone who was not fit and hobbling around his medical......why even give a medical, as surely if the player is injured we will be signing them for the future and so the medical is not required due to being of no importance.......the Robinho one, if he returns from Brazil able to play then I want a response of our medical staff, as he has got nowhere near coming back under them, 1 week with Brazil and he is training and could be fit for action come Saturday....and boy do we need him.

I answered that above and in my post on page 1.......if I was in the same mood that WW is, I would pull you up for your grammar also ;).

I have no idea how long the current medical staff have been at the club and it doesn't matter, you can either do the job you are asked to do or you can't, I say they cannot.

Peter Swales was at City for just over 20 years, did that make him a good Chairman??......it is not the time we should be giving people who hold key positions at this club, but we should go of ability and skill factor....in some cases that isn't happening.

My local GP would have had Johnson back quicker than 2 years.
for RSC we should have waited for the future, hell he STILL isn't even fit now and it is Novemeber, so why the rush, it is not like he is the kind of player we would face competition with to purchase is it?.
Robinho, if you believe that Brazil mis-diagnosed him then I think your talking "in your words" BOLLOX, as he was sent back from the game when they played Argentina which is the one he suffered the injury in, and it took another 2 weeks before his full extent of his injury was found out.....baring in mind he had been back in the Uk for 2 weeks, they did a remarkable job to find out that quickly ah?.
We had the likes of Elano, Gelson, de Jong, Weiss, Zabaleta to choose from instead of Kompany last season, so that we were "thin on the ground" is not 100% true, alright some of them might have been a bit drastic to take, but we had options available to us, to keep the fitness of a key first team player available and up, but foolishly choose not to do so....instead they prolonged his injury by giving him meaningless jabs that just dampened the pain for an hour or so and then it would be back again (judging by that he said he required 2 each time he played!).....and early part of this campaign we punnished ourselves, as he was out and 2 of those mentioned above were sold.

If Petrov went to Brazil, he would probably be fit for Saturday also! :)

As much as i don't agree with a lot of what Robinho_Is_GOD posts on here he is bang on with this one!!
I posted back in the summer (not sure on here or somewhere else) that with our wealth we needed to attract in the summer the best medical staff for the club.
We're investing in top players and they in turn need looking after properly!
At the end of last season we was struggling to put out 11 fit players (still think it cost us 6th) and it was down to bad treatment and assesments.
Not a great deal has changed this season tbh.......it needs addressing and fast.

Robinho, if you believe that Brazil mis-diagnosed him then I think your talking "in your words" BOLLOX, as he was sent back from the game when they played Argentina which is the one he suffered the injury in, and it took another 2 weeks before his full extent of his injury was found out.....baring in mind he had been back in the Uk for 2 weeks, they did a remarkable job to find out that quickly ah?.
We had the likes of Elano, Gelson, de Jong, Weiss, Zabaleta to choose from instead of Kompany last season, so that we were "thin on the ground" is not 100% true, alright some of them might have been a bit drastic to take, but we had options available to us, to keep the fitness of a key first team player available and up, but foolishly choose not to do so....instead they prolonged his injury by giving him meaningless jabs that just dampened the pain for an hour or so and then it would be back again (judging by that he said he required 2 each time he played!).....and early part of this campaign we punnished ourselves, as he was out and 2 of those mentioned above were sold.

If Petrov went to Brazil, he would probably be fit for Saturday also! :)

I'll try to answer your questions one by one starting with the medical staff. They were newly appointed at the start of the season so realistically cannot be held to blame for Johnno's problems. And for him, there are many rumours doing the circuit but there is more to the eye to his problem. Many believe that it was just down to his compunction to drink vast quantities of beer, however there is also rumour of this problem being known for a long time, even back to before he played in the first team. He'd reported to friends that this issue could, and probably would end his career early, and this was a reason for his late night sessions.

Now, as for the 'Vinnie, I've stubbed my toe' thing, would you really want to play any of those you've quoted in his position? Nigel (coming back from injury) and Zab (used elsewhere) would've been a good call but the problem was that at the end of last season Vinnie took up a multitude of roles, simply because we lacked strength in depth. Would you really want to play Gelson, Vlad or Elano in the role that Vinnie can play, especially knowing that all 3 of them weighed in at about 25 stone and 17 feet between them (and as you stated, 2 were sold for good reason and 1 was short of the first team)? Many players play through the pain or take jabs as they know they can do the team harm if they don't; Vinnie was one of those people just as the likes of John Terry is for Chelsea (all relative).

And to finish, you mention that Brazil sent Robbie back after his injury but fail to mention that they should've diagnosed the problem before he left. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but if I had a player away on international duty who got injured there, I would fully expect to get a full report on what was wrong with him and that report to be accurate. Dunga goes on about being professional yet fails to see the irony that he sent a player back who was wrongly diagnosed which could have lead to him being injured further. By the sounds of it our medical staff did a very good job to diagnose the problem early and ensure no further damage was caused.

As much as i don't agree with a lot of what Robinho_Is_GOD posts on here he is bang on with this one!!
I posted back in the summer (not sure on here or somewhere else) that with our wealth we needed to attract in the summer the best medical staff for the club.
We're investing in top players and they in turn need looking after properly!
At the end of last season we was struggling to put out 11 fit players (still think it cost us 6th) and it was down to bad treatment and assesments.
Not a great deal has changed this season tbh.......it needs addressing and fast.

A lot of that comes down to amount of games and the shitty rehab we had at Carrington not to mention a piss poor gym that to m knowledge only got sorted this summer.
It aint black and white pal,every player heals differently to another.

We are just going around in circles now and it is getting boring, I have already backed it up in the comments on this thread to one of the posters here, highlighting that I cannot understand why with the chance for best medical team/doctors and care around, we have settled for 2nd rate.

Doctors/Medics that take too long to diagnose a problem, the same ones who put players at risk by giving them stupid pain killing jabs that don't cure the problem just prolong it, and yet we did have other players available, even last year.....we all know who chose the team and he opted not to use them other options.

Players who have groin problems that last 2 years, sorry WW and even Beefymcfc, but groin problem is what it was reported as, and not being a doctor myself I am in no position to say whether that diagnosis was correct or not, but someone should have been, and they should have qualifications.....I question there certificate, as no groin problem takes that long to heal, fuck a broken leg heals on it's own in less time!.

As for RSC, we didn't need to sign him then, as we would never have faced competition for someone like him, and could have bought him on the final day of the window for less probably, instead we panicked and passed someone who was not fit and hobbling around his medical......why even give a medical, as surely if the player is injured we will be signing them for the future and so the medical is not required due to being of no importance.......the Robinho one, if he returns from Brazil able to play then I want a response of our medical staff, as he has got nowhere near coming back under them, 1 week with Brazil and he is training and could be fit for action come Saturday....and boy do we need him.

If I get a cast on my broken arm in one hospital and have it taken off 8 weeks later at a different hospital has the 2nd hospital cured me in your opinion?
