Postby Ted Hughes » Thu Aug 30, 2012 6:34 pm

without Mancini's consent.

Come on, put your fucking names down.

If he did do that without Mancini's say so I admit to being a clueless cunt.

Now lets have you, all those who think this is purely down to Marwood sign here & if you are wrong you are clueless cunts.

Come on, sign up.

I suspect Mancini did sanction this sale.

I'll join in with a few good verses of "FUCK OFF MARWOOD" on Saturday.

With added gusto. We are a weaker side without AJ and DJ with no signs of any decent replacements.

I doubt it.

However, I am getting concerned by our dealings this window. Why are we selling him so late in the day for peanuts? Why couldn't we conclude the Sinclair deal earlier if we really wanted him and we then appear to pay double the ndj fee? Why have we left it so late to sort out a cb transfer?

Good to see deadwood moved on, but who feels that our dealings have improved our core squad?

Who do we believe has responsibility for transfer dealings? If it is marwood, then it doesn't look great from my eyes as a supporter.

I doubt he sold NDJ without Mancinis approval. I dont have a problem with the players that have left leaving IF were bringing players in that improve our squad on last season. Like I said previously Marwood has had months and months to sort these deals out. If we dont bring some players in then hes allowed us to become weaker.

There is no way Mancini wouldn't know about it.

DeJong is great, but limited, very limited. We just don't really need him anymore. We need a defensive midfielder to be more than just that, he needs to be able to play the ball forward and keep play moving.

We already brought his replacement in with Rodwell.

Correct, Fonzie?

cheers

Things are weird at this moment, starting with all the Richard Wright saga.

It's like we are buying players just for the sake of it.

I quite like the addition of Rodwell and think he will be a good long term signing. But I can't see he is a replacement for ndj - different style of player - and I don't agree that we don't need a player in the mould of ndj.

If you think Rodwell is a replacement for NDJ then OK. But I'm on about improving our squad on what we had last year. Our competitors have improved theres.

I think we are trying to do something big & Nige has been sacrificed because of squad size & wages etc. The law has been laid down by the powers that be & MR Soriano has shown he is going to follow the same line, so Bob has agreed to let Nige go in either the hope or cetainty that a player he wants is attainable. Possibly a real biggie (or two).

I have a feeling our Spanish friend is at it.

panic buys?

interesting. Rodwell wasn't i don't think.

Doesn't seem like this CB kid is/was either, given that he's rated highly.

i dunno....it's the oddest window i would have imagined on the back of winning the league. I expected us to wield a 12 inch cock and slap some fuckers in the forehead with it.
