One again, if anyone can fix me a match ticket for the Ajax away game, I can set you up for the night in return. I live 30 minutes from the Amsterdam Arena, door to door (not in Amsterdam, though).

If we don't fly DeRossi in tomorrow and along with him maybe Garcia and Jovetic too, we are fucked on both CL and PL fronts ... and Mancini better sort this 3-5-2 shit straightaway ... and we better not get any more injuries all season ...

ESPN has predicted each group on their site and from Group D they reckon it will be Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund proceeding and us falling to Europa again ... and they way squad and schedule stands I have to agree ...

Shut up you puff.

We don't lose at home.

Well said. I'm more bothered about getting time off work at such short notice so that I can go to Madrid

With all the games so close they are doable in a day, throw a sickie.

It kinda looks like I have a unique chance of seeing city play, in Dortmund.

I really didn't want to start a new thread (partially cos you get told off if it's just bollox,)
But here's a conspiracy theory for all you, well, conspiracy theorists:

As I was just checking the OS on the SS signing, I noticed that glorious new Euro away kit being advertised, and thought - Real, Dortmund and AJax all play in light colours at home - white, yellow, and red+white. We couldn't get Juventus as they have their Newcastle tops and we wouldn't be able to wear our dashing new kit cos of the clash.
So, not only was the draw fixed, but we were actually in on it.
Yes, my tongue is bursting my cheek, but still something to chew over..
And it still won't stop me buying that new top when the price has come down to HOWMUCH?? from THATS INSANE THAT FOR 1 TOP.
All yours..
City have soul. United do not.

Was going to ask about tickets and allocations for CL games last year - I take it none of them even made it close to general sale? I'm going to be near Dortmund for the final match; would love to see if their stadium/support are as great as they say.

Somehow, though, I don't think my points from the Norwich home game last year will be enough.

Don't think they got to general sale. Went to about 1500 points for season cards on the cup scheme.

I expect to see tickets to the big away games on the ticket exchange system thing. A good few hundred that have the points regularly buy tickets for away trips just to keep their points up and sell them on to others. The ticket exchange will open this up to people who don't know one of these lot personally and they will use it because they can make an extra 50% on it.

yeah, small problem mate ... ticket exchange (the official one) thru viagogo is only for home games, that too only league games, nothing else and you can only sell 6 per season out of the 19 ... so you still need to find the sellers offline through contacts or they need to advertise on other ad sites or twitter ...

Hello,
I'm from Germany and really looking forward to also visit the away matches of my club (BVB) in the CL.

In case you are looking for tickets for the away game in Dortmund, we can maybe help each other to get tickets, because I am very interested to see the match in Manchester (flights are already booked)!

If you're interested just drop me a PM ;-)

Good luck for your matches and greetings from Germany,
DGer

Apparently they charged the scum 50 odd euros or £45 in proper money! I also heard that Madrid are only charging Dortmund and Ajax £40 a ticket! Just because we have the tag richest club in the world, it doesn't mean our fans are and certainly doesn't mean they can take the piss like that! Sadly the only way to make them realise is if no one turns up, sadly people will pay it otherwise they will miss out! We should turn around and charge them £65 a ticket! Twunts!!!!

It's a piss take £65 we've already booked travel and now they sting us like this. I hope the club are doing the same to them

If they do we will feel it too. There's some rule about away fans not paying more than the average home ticket.
