Boyata to Twente

Boyata to Twente

Postby mr_nool » Sat Sep 01, 2012 7:08 am

Didn't see it mention anywhere...
Boyata is going to Twente on a season long loan.

Also, McGivern is loaned out to Hibs until the end of January.

I hope both the lads will gain some valuable experience. I will keep an eye on Dedryck, now that he's playing in the Dutch league.

I dont think either have a future here, boyata ruined his chance with a disastrous loan at bolton, if we had any real intention of keeping him he would of gone to a premier league club again. Mcgivern aswell what a bad move, would of been better in league one than the non competitive SPL with one of the poorer sides there. I do however wish them the best!
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I reckon it's a perfect move to have his potential developed. hardly he might have room at home, now. and Dutch League is still the most nurturing school.

looking forward to Your sensible feedbacks, Erik.

Agreed, Dedrick showed promise 2 seasons ago, sadly at Bolton he bombed. As someone else said, some Dutch coaching for a year might be what he needs.....

I think he had a bit about him, certainly more potential than a certain defender who shall remain unnamed as he has gone now and we all rejoiced. Hope he does well in the Dutch league, where he will be, how you say, a superstar?

Luckily Twente have proved they can win the league inspite of that buffoon being their figurehead, so I think they have a strong coaching setup. He might still do ok.

Thought McGivern done well for Bristol City in the championship last year. Thought he'd have got another move there!

The Boyata loan is 6 months. The McGivern loan is season long.

Boyata is an ok player but was played out of position at Bolton and was woeful at right back whenever I seen him. Still, he definately has something.

Mcgivern simply isn't anywhere near good enough to play premiership football never mind for City. Will end up being released and sign for a lower half championship side or league one side.

That said, good luck to the pair of them.
