I am dead fucking serious here, FUCKING SORT OUT THE STARS.

Last two times we've had 5 either side and last two times we've played like the entire team just fucking met, now your chancing six? THREE a side, that's it...SORT IT.

I'm like that too.

I didn't go for a shit when we beat QPR last day of the season all day. I woke up this morning playing tig with my boxers but I'm trying to hold it in until after the match.

Just change the stars!!!

I can't see us conceding 2 again, Bobby will be well aware that we have been leaking goals recently and getting away with it.

QPR have no reason to turn up and nick a goal. I believe they will try to play football today. That scouse fuckwit isn't there so the players, especially Carlos, won't be trying to get revenge and will hopefully concentrate on not conceding/scoring.

5-0.....Tevez brace, Nasri, Kompany, Zab

(If we play a formation we are used to, if not, then it could be anything)
"If we fire our manager after just one bad season - We'll become Chelsea"
"If we think we can fix the problem by buying expensive players - We'll become City"
"If we remember the good times to entertain us during the bad times - We'll become Liverpool"

So, keep calm and do it the United way

"We invest in young players, That is what we are good at — we’re not like other clubs who can spend fortunes on proven goods. We know that Manchester City are going to pay stupid money, pay silly salaries and all that. We can’t do anything about it. We concentrate on what we can do to try to bring players in for the right reasons. We invest in those who will be with the club for a long time, who will create the character of the club, who will create excitement for our fans. We are very proud of that and we are going to continue that way" - Alex Ferguson 14th May 2012

Well said that man. I'm not a superstitious* fucker but if it makes just one person less nervy then I'm all for it.

I'm amazed how Hughes believes that buying a near complete new team will help him get where the owners want. Only time will tell I suppose but I'm sure we've seen this sort of strategy somewhere before?

Because it's Hughes they're backline is going to be put very high up the field even when we have the ball. They're also going to lack organization. If we don't score we may have something to worry about. On the other hand his teams do know how to counterattack and are more lethal when chasing a lead. I say a draw isn't unlikely but we should win.

so, anyone gonna chance their arm by predicting a team? Are we likely to see any of the new boys start?

and if you're feeling ambitious - try and predict the qpr team!

Well after the registration office closes, any of the signings we made then won't be.

I am a bit worried, to be fair. The last two games when Hughes came here, he figured us out.

Any deals that were confirmed by 12pm yesterday can play. Therefore Sinclair could play, but i think he will start on the bench.

Not sure about the Maicon one

Richard Wright between the sticks i reckon

Maicon was confirmed after 2pm, I'd say the news service probably has an hour at most between it happening and them reporting, so I am guessing too late.

Can't see any of the new boys being included in the squad for today. They'll probably be paraded, watch the game then fly home to sort their shit out.

Stick to what we have for today.

Nastasic, Garcia and Maicon are joining up with the team after the international matches.
Sinclair and Wright are free to play.

SSN Italy reports as a fact that Mario is gonna missing the game cause due to undergoing laser surgery to correct myopia.
Would be weird if the manager picks any of the new stars just landed after a few days rollercaster.
Also not sure what'd be best for the sake of recovery the Wizard to full match fitness for the Barnabeu game: resting and training schedule or adding game some time?
anyhow it will be a quite entertaining late afternoon and ordinary day at the Ethiad Fortress.

He certainly did with Fulham but in the last game they just stood about watching as we kicked the ball at their goal.
