Rodwell was excellent today I thought. Really strong.

Some positives there but fuck me that was infuriating

Excellent first half, abysmal second half.

Our defence is worryingly fragile - we need our strongest back 4 playing for Stoke.

Rodwell was excellent and is settling in well, but looking forward to having Barry back again so Yaya can push forward more.

Nasri was nowhere to be seen for most of the game. His 1 good game in 5 ratio shows no sign of stopping.

Tevez worked hard and his scoring form continues which is a good sign. Dzeko should just stick to staying in the box for crosses or rebounds and do nothing else - his touch is absymal, I can't understand how a professional footballer can have such shit control.

Overall, not overly happy but the 3 points is the most important thing. We're still unbeaten in the league and our strong home form continues. Plus we're already 5 points ahead of Spurs which is good!

what i liked:

The Rod is strong. I like the cut of this kid's jib. He can ride some tackles too. Me likey.
Ed was fantastic today. Well played Palus. Whatever you cunts are feeding him is working.
Tevez. Nuf sed.
Pablo. See "Tevez".
Nice lil cameo from Razak. Just a trailer. I'll go see that movie though for sure.

Way too edgy. Can you be wasteful and resourceful in the same match? we were.

Mabuhay.

I think Garcia will make a big difference to the defence. Looking at the videos he's tough as shit just as mobile as De Jong and better on the ball than him. Not as good as De Rossi but we won't miss Nigel. Javi's also going to give us yet more threat from set pieces and help us defending them. My only worry is whether he gets a few too many cards.

His movement off the ball was back to his best - he was always in the right place when there was a sniff of a chance - they just need to get used to trusting him to be in that position so they can actually GIVE him the chances.
