But his movement got him into the position to take the shot in the first place. Just one of many examples.

Just back.

Should've, could've had eight - but we didn't - we need to put chances away.

For the most part a stroll, and so concentation at the back slipped.

There's something Goat-like about Ed, sometime clumsy and awkward, but there always seems to be goals when he's around.

Good game from Rodders, he's begining to slot in.

3pts - and didn't concede 2 this time.

Personally I don't think Mancini knows what he's doing, I mean dzeko doesnt seem like he knows where he is, kolarov may as well stand still, and I think bringing Sinclair in was purely to fill the gap off Johnson as bench warmer! I think lescott needs to be dropped he stumbles over his own feet at times! Joe hart at the moment doesn't seem confident! Silva is mixed, nasri is getting better, rodwell and toure ran the middle, and tevez is back to his best, but are we really that short on players that razak came on? I mean Milner is a waste off time, I think before deadline day we should have attempted to sign cavani or falcao because with dzeko and ballotelli we only have two strikers in tevez and aguero! Guidetti is meant to be decent but Mancini don't seem to fancy him, I kinda wish e never signed a contract extension tbh!!

Broke up some attacks and put in a few decent balls. Dunno what the guy has to do.

Entertaining game. We outplayed QPR but they could have knicked 2 points away from us. At the end of the day, we got 3 points and improved our goal difference so job done. Time to move onto bigger things like Madrid :-)

I actually agree with you. Ball watching for Zamora's goal aside, he was alright. Could've done better with some final balls, but he got into good positions in the first place & his pass to send Silva thru on goal was sublime.

You got to admit though, the jumping into players was fun to watch.

Ok, I'll bite.
Personally, I think Mancini does know what he's doing. It wouldn't be the first time he been going in a direction and the fans have been slow to catch on.

See my other post re Dzecko - he often looks a bit lost, but he has goals in him (plus his defending is useful).

Kolorov will always divide opinion - decent today though.

Joe Hart lacking confidence? Don't know where you get that from.

Silva has a dodgy ankle, missed most of the pre-season due to the Euros and isn't up to speed yet. I still thought he did some fantastic stuff. Maybe we've been spoilt.

Possibly Bobby's mistake was to bring on Kolo as right back - now he did seem all over the place, and that's why Milner came on. One crap cross does not sum up his game. He provides solidity, has a great engine and carries an attacking threat.

Neither Cavanni nor Falcao were coming to us. In any case the four forwards we have won the league last year - not to be dismissed so idly.

As for Sinclair, we haven't seen him play yet, but I suspect he provides speed and 90 mins of effort.

hard to disagree with You in general. twice the harder when You are biting to such a shame.
still re. kolaror - who I've never been amongst the most vocals against - I think it's difficult to accept a lapse like that on Zamora (not the first ever), if You want to be a MCFC player nowadays. I accept that every player has his own features, strenghts and weaknesses, but that simply not fits the bill of a Champions' Team player.

4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

I checked on the sky sports app on the way home from the game to check a few other scores and such.

Saw the title "city stutter past QPR" and was intrigued to the bullshit within and was rewarded with this opening paragraph.

Manchester City SURVIVED a brief scare before securing an UNINSPIRING 3-1 win over QPR at the etihad stadium in roberto mancini's 100th game in charge.

Firstly we looked ok for the most part today, a big improvement on the last 2 games but still with a way to improve defensively and in the middle. Secondly would they be so over dramatic and slate us as bad if it wasn't a landmark game? Did they slate the scum when they narrowly avoided a draw at home last week? Did they fuck they announced van persie had scored the goal of the season and nothing else. CUNTS.

Everything is there for edin but when he has time he seems to doubt himself and fuck up. Definitely a confidence player that needs games to be at his best but with kun back in a few games he will drop back into the edin people love to bitch about as soon as his arse hits the bench.

Didn't know mourinho was there today. I hope he goes away thinking we are pretty bad (a good team would of beat us easily today) and then by time we play them we have hit our rhythm and show him how good we can actually be.
