Just to add to the rest of you talking sense about Edin, agree with Dam, Doug and Ted. everyone else is talking shite.

By the way who else knew that Silva was going to miss that one on one from Dzeko's pass as soon as he received the ball? For such an amazing player with such calmness in play, his composure before shooting is woeful, always his body shape is not quite right, really strange.

He is so good because he spends most of his time outside the box creating for others. I think his natural mindset and the first thing he thinks of when he is on the ball is who he can give it too so shooting is always an afterthought.

He just isn't a striker.

Im not Dzeko's biggest fan but thought he did ok and didn't get the service he needed. And as you say he does have an eye for a pass. Id like to see him have a bit of a run and get a few goals / confidence in Sergio and Marios absence.

People forget that Shaun Goatinho looked terrible on the ball but he knew where the onion bag was! Same for Dzeko. He will be a City legend!!!!!

there is a lot more common sense here than on some other forums... :)

regarding big Ed he still spends a lot of time out wide, but then again by that he drags defenders wide with him leaving space for the likes of Tevez, Silva, Nasri, Yaya to dart in between...

and many times people moan about his control...Joe hit one long for him and it stuck onto his right foot like glue...I think it's just the matter of continuity for him...

he did have a few bad passes in awkward moments because whenever he did have a bad pass QPR went on the counter...
