First name I thought of when I read this title was Gio Kinkladze. Ajax seemed like a dream move for him, but essentially he never quite hit the heights after leaving us.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

I guess you can now add Florent Malouda to the list.

He tweeted this morning that Chelsea are making him see out his last year of his contract with the Under 21's.

Harsh on their part I say!

Has he done something? I mean he has been pretty regular for them for years. Had fair few games last season if my memory serves me.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

40+ games for them last year.

His only crime was he didn't leave when they told him to fuck off basically.

Must have been mentioned elsehwere but another vote for Michael Johnson here.

Another blast from the past, Wayne Harrison. Went for big money from Oldham to Liverpool in the 80's but fizzled out; played against him at decent amateur standard in the 90's but his knees were shot.

Paul Stewart was a great buy for us, cost 200k from blackpool and sold little over a year later for £1.7m which was amazing business in them days, he went down hill from there as spurs turned him from a striker to a defensive midfielder, fucking criminal.

He wasn't good enough for us when we were shite, not aure anything disappeared from him. I found it funny that whenever he did a stint at a club, he only scored one goal. Anyways, he is back at Dundee Utd now and might actually complete two seasons with the same club...fingers crossed.

This reads like a whos who of my champ man/fm signings!

I'm throwing Christian negouai out into the mix

I was also going to spice it up with Mathias Vuoso but looks like he's done ok for himself in the Mexican league for the big clubs there, scored a fair few goals too
