Kolarov on worries me. He made zero effort to help out at the back yet is worse in possession than any of the other options including Rodwell.

One of his first passes of the game was a through ball that got one touch to put it in the Real penalty area. I think it took Real by surprise.

It really was a great idea to put & 19 year old kid next to Vinny when his confidence is shot to fuck. It's really bringing his game on. The way he dealt with Higuain was fantastic.

And the distribution from the back is so much better. They really are feeding Joe Hart like never before. And what a fantastic idea to let Maicon go 1v1 with Ronaldo.

I particularly like the tactic of hitting long balls from the back to Tevez' head too. Makes good sense if you ask me.

Way to much respect being shown to Madrid.zero tackling little composure and very little belief.mancini needs to get them in and tell them to take control of the game and get them playing football because they have barely started.on a positive note its 0-0 and its still there for the taking.come on city!!!!

Agree, he is and always has been a weak link. I don't like footballers who cant handle the ball between their legs!

Savic?? He's better than Lescott. Impressed by him, nice to see we have a playing CB.

Neah, Kingaloon still has that je ne se quoi in him.

Maicon has been shocking, is zaba on the bench?.

If it is still 0-0 with 20-15 minutes left I hope we go for it and bring aguero on instead of trying to grind out the draw.

Interesting half with us looking slow and sloppy over most of the pitch. When the ball goes dead for whatever reason they seem to snap onto action and leave us behind. Really annoying how lacking in zip we are, bar Yaya's 2 great runs.

Looks like we are playing a backline of 6 Nasri not getting back to offer much cover, same with Silva but here we are at 0.0 at half time. I'll take that and hope for something better in the 2nd half and if Joe carries on as he is ( clearly our MotM so far) and that bit of luck you need we could even win this.

The lad got left for dead with a straight pass which your average run of the mill defender would have covered. Not his fault; he's just a kid. Doing very well for a kid ridiculously thrown into a game where he shouldn't even be on the bench. He's clearly got a lot more about him than Savic, including luck.

I totally agree with your moaning today. Bob's tactics have been shambolic. If we intend to sit back anyway, why don't we set up the team for counters? Dzeko as a target man, and a couple of fast players for him to lay off to...

He is. Poor start at City from Maicon, though it will be great to rotate the three when Micah's fit.
