The lad got left for dead with a straight pass which your average run of the mill defender would have covered. Not his fault; he's just a kid. Doing very well for a kid ridiculously thrown into a game where he shouldn't even be on the bench. He's clearly got a lot more about him than Savic, including luck.

Once again I agree. Unless Lescott is injured, I see no reason whatsoever to play with two new players - one of them an inexperienced kid - in the back four.
