5 games left

none from match day (!?!) one

where do we pick them up?

3 wins and a draw is more than doable...

Only if we go out and play like favorites agains Ajax and Borussia because we are no more some one in front mind games and patch up defence.

said before tonight that Ajax must be wins home and away (ala Villareal last year), Split the games with Madrid (ala Dortmund) and it goes down to the games with Dortmud (minimum 4 points from them)

Our Euro away performances under Bob have been mostly shite, not just in the Champions League but also in the UEFA. Even the games we have won have been mostly unconvincing.

That has to change right now or we can write this off for another year. Tonight's performance is being masked by the fact that it was v Real Madrid. It would have got us fucked at Dortmund, Ajax or West Brom. We were a fucking mess.

The only good point was Dzeko looks well up for it.

Dzeko looks like the player we paid so much money for and if Bob benches him again on Sunday well you have to ask questions imo.

bull shit

difference this evening was ronaldo. and not because he was great but because he has scored almost a goal a game since he joined real. add a fully fit sergio to the mix...

mourinho's celebrations said it all.

Jose would not have celebrated like that if they weren't already 8 points behind Barca in the league. This game was massive for him.

We were constantly asking for trouble today imo. we gave our opposition way too much time and space around our penalty box. If you let champions league quality players take their time and have a go from some 20 yards out they WILL score goals. I think we were lucky today they scored from those situations only in the last five minutes.

That's absolute fucking tripe.

Their fullback could have had a fucking hat trick. They created about 12 chances without Ronaldo touching the fucking ball.

In case you missed it; he had fuck all to do with two of the three goals.

a marcelo goal was obvious from early on...why vincent gave him the space to score was laffable.

what a fun match tho....plenty of lineup decisions to gripe about. Dzeko's goal was sublime.

we deserved nothing and nearly had it all. That's football.

errr....

and marcelo is such a threat because he plays behind who? take ronaldo out of that side and they'd have lost. simple as. apologies if original point was badly made.

Win our 3 home games - 3 of the next 4 games are at home - and get something in Amsterdam (insert pun here).

Dortmund at home is an absolute must win with bells on.

RM will win this group. So we must beat dortmund at home as anything less will leave give them the edge for second place.

Turning that around though; a win v Dortmund could put us in a very strong position as they don't get to play us at home until the last game, meaning we have one away game, at Ajax & three home before then. They will have played Real twice & been to ours before we have to play Real again.

If we do our job right, it could be all over before we go to Germany.

Spot on. The fixtures havent been too bad for us here, but we can only take advantage and open up the group for us IF we beat Dortmund next up, which we absolutely must.
