has us down for a 2-1 win

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19661629

unsurprisingly, olympic hero and arsenal fan mo farah has them winning 2-1

facing the best finisher in the leage in podolski and steve bould's (back to the 90s) back 4 we don't stand a chance do we?

Isn't it about the time Arsenal get whipped to something like 6-7 goals like (their) last year's 8-2? We totally need to get our goal difference going up ... You think last year was close, I think this year there might be three teams fighting over a single point or goal difference again ... I'd take 4+ goals for City and a clean sheet please!

I have been looking to this fixture as a make or break type thing.

We step up and play like we can, stop the flapping bullshit shitbag defending and 3 points sends us on our way to some stronger performances.

Or

We play like we have been and get embarrassed. Feel sorry for ourselves and go struggle our way through a long tiring season of mediocrity.

Yup, this is it ... the next League game (Arsenal) and the next CL game (Dortmund), both will define the season ahead for us in each ... absolutely pivotal games both. Luckily they are both home games so I am confident!

It feels that way doesn't it, we either kick start our season ASAP or just continue to struggle through making excuse after excuse.

And no doubt if we lose, the next match will be the most crucial match of the season, we will need to show what we can do after defeat to Arsenal, show what champions are made of, blah blah, otherwise it will be a long hard season of mediocrity. Until the next match anyway. The league isn't won or lost in September.

I have feeling after losing game like that that our boys will come out to hammer Arsenal down , i would feel that way , i think Bob also knows its impotent to start game strong and he will up their spirit... i hope for great win .Real is behaind Comon City.

Every point matters. Every goal matters. A win against a good team will go a long long way to making us a stronger team. Beating southampton or QPR at home doesn't have the same effect.

Most people seem to be in agreement that our problems are in the players heads because we know they have the talents. We know they can pass and move and support each other. We know we can defend and we know we can score.

So this is an important game. It might not decide our season in 90 minutes but it could help us on our way to the team we are supposed to be or it could give the players more reasons to doubt their own ability.

This is true.

But after the finale last season I find myself counting EVERY potential point won or lost. I'm even looking at our goal difference already lol.

Of course it's make or break. After all there's only another 33 matches to play after this one.

Yeah but should we lose this, there will be only another 32 games...it's becoming crucial.

If we start with the him tempo we finished at Real and tighten the defence with regards shutting down attackers quicker then we will have a good win under our belts. Start with a half arsed attitude and the defensive unit are badly organised and were fucked.

City 3 - Arse 0 - yes a clean sheet!!!!

I actually think Lawro is right this time, especially the bit about the tactical blunders made in Madrid. Hopefully Mancini comes to his senses and plays a strong settled team, 2-1 home win about right. Hopefully!!
