No fault of his we could not find a man when we at times were 4 against 2, shit pass and Garcia is beyond his man or the ball due to a shit pass. One interception was superb and saw Diaby hooked.
He was following the ball rather than seeing the danger & he was sometimes leaving the centre of the pitch to Arsenal. Sometimes just occupying an area is better than rushing out, as with the shot leading to the corner from which Arsenal scored.
Over reaction Ted, we had no pressure on the ball 1st Half, He is almost covering the whole, centre centre areas, which the manager saw, Silva was poor which means loss of the ball more chasing to get it back, he is gonna be a top signing.
He was still doing the same 2nd half & not covering his areas. Rodwell by contrast, stuck to his job like shit to a blanket.I too think he will be a top player but in the last 2 games, he has got half the stuff he's done wrong.
Silva btw played 5 key passes in the game compared to Cazorla's 2.

Exactly!
Which is why I think we should've eased Garcia in and let Rodwell play more. You have got to admit that Rodwell, so far, has seemed much much more impressive than Garcia.
I also fucking HATE the attitude that when someone tries to analyze weaknessess of someones game it's always "knee jerk reaction". It isn't. Anyone with at least single eye ball intact can see that right now game just passes Garcia by.

Some of us hate city supporters telling players still bedding in they should buy a ticket. It's arrogant, disrespectful and inspires responses to the opposite.
Seriously the thread title and it's the ones defending a city player you criticize? Fuck me

You don't think thread title is half hearted joke? Ie he isn't really involved in play = he should pay for ticket. Lighten up.

Indeed.
The title was obviously (I thought) a tongue-in-cheek way of saying that the last 2 games have passed Garcia by. I think the vast majority of people who saw these games would agree.
I also said that a big big improvement was needed, again I think most would agree.
I think we should be able to point out if a player needs to improve without being accused of 'knee jerking' or not giving a player time.
He played well in his first game for us, he has been invisible in the last 2 games. I am sure he ill improve as he gets more games under his belt.

Whatever your intended sentiment when choosing the thread title it was always going to be open to interpretation.
You would have been only to aware that it would encourage a number of people to take the opportunity to have a pop -an open invitation to a knee jerk reaction or those with a negative slant on most things.
Yes it opens up a debate - no reason not to, thats what this place is for, but you knew very well what your tounge in cheek thread title would achieve

The key passes are whats missing from his game mate.It will come and we will be Champions, just need to settle down what is a sluggish start all be it unbeaten.

So if you knew it was just a joke then why bother react?

I'm just describing a statistical fact, not giving an opinion. Silva created 5 key passes, Cazorla two.
Also agree with NQDP re Garcia. Most people in this thread have been simply telling the truth, that so far he's not been upto it. Not saying he never will be, just that so far, he hasn't been.
Those who can't handle football discussion on a football discussion site should just go on the OS & post stuff like 'I love Javi Garcia' instead of wasting time on here talking about football.

Discussion goes two ways Ted, if disagreeing and asking for patience on a new signing is not allowed should we all just say "top post" and lap it up like muppets?
Nobody on this thread has lost their head, it's just differing opinions.

What do you mean by having patience ? I've had a fucking season ticket since the early 70's. I've got patience, & Garcia hasn't been playing very well. What has that got to do with having patience ?

Seriously? You're pulling that card here?
I'm not saying anything against you personally, but you came on and told us all off for having our opinion. Patience is something that doesn't have you charging our players for a ticket after 2 sub par displays against Madrid and arsenal.
Ted Hughes wrote:
The thread title is clearly a bit of a laugh. The actual content has been people discussing whether Garcia should be in the team or not at this point. Fuck all to do with patience. Having seen Barry & Milner both unfit tonight, we may not have a choice but to pick Garcia.
Perhaps we should just play them unfit though & have patience until they both get match fit ?
