bring it on, but it is always good to focus on the positives.
losing a game was in the air, the way City played, so it is a good thing that it happened in this mickey mouse cup than in the league.

If we lose against almighty Fulham, I will eat my own words and give my best and try to suck my own cock.

cheers

Amazing tget we only lost by 1 goal in Spain with Garcia, Barry & Nasti in same team.

Some of our attacking play 2nd half was great but missed chances. Tevez worked hard but got in the way. Mario will get slated but he was fucking good.

Ted, you must be joking about Mario, he looked like he could not give a toss, he fucked up possesion for fun, mis controlled the ball for one of there goals found himself offside with the North stand sceaming for him to get back on. Sorr Ted, the team the weather and Mario were SHITE FROM START TO FINISH. One great free kick on a worrying night for those who bothered. Form is not a tap you can fuck about with. PISS POOR EFFORT, Good luck to Villa.

Funny how different people see different things eh.

Mario's body language at times was laughable, so if you want to judge his attitude on the flouncing about and air punching after something he tries doesn't come off, then yeah, I'd say feel free to slag it right off. That's just part of the man's intrinsic theatrics.

As far as his actual performance and contribution to the game went, he did a hell of a lot right; always looking to release a team-mate where possible, and on several occasions being a whisker away from the killer pass coming off. Also was pleased to see him closing down and putting the graft in. Overall a good strong performance imho.

I happened to be watching him closely as we approached the villa box down the right, immediately prior to his goal, and I have to say his positional sense, or his striker's instinct for being in the right place at the right time, is usually fantastic; last night being no exception. He must have only drifted about half a yard in the latter stages of the build-up, just waiting; loitering with intent; biding his time. Actually said to my sister as the move developed; 'Check Mario out, he's not moving at all, just standing there' - which was me being critical - and then it proved to be exactly the right thing to have done. Found his space cleverly, and made sure he was still in it at the crucial moment. And an undeniably consummate control and finish it was too.

Thought Tevez was his busy self, but his final ball and touch eluded him in the greasy conditions just when it counted.

Edin, again, looked good and worked hard.

As for the youngsters, Nasti goes from looking very calm and composed beyond his years, to looking like a 19 year old who's being fast -tracked, well - a little too fast. Bit harsh to impose the 'make-or-break' situation of sticking him right in the firing line all the time, as it's a massive gamble, and depending on how certain match situations pan out, bits of fortune good and bad here and there, it could shatter his confidence, get the fans on his back, and basically write off his City career before it's had chance to get going. Possible pattern emerging here with Boyata, Savic (I firmly believe Nasti is far superior to Savic), and now possibly Nasti.

I'm surprised people are heaping praise on Razak relative to Suarez. Razak was more involved yes, but from where I was sitting he was more involved negatively that positively. Dwelled, miscontrolled, mis-passed, created scoring opportunities for Villa. Yeah he showed the odd flash, but if that was me out there, I'd be extremely pissed off with myself, given that there is quality under there which was outweighed by shite.

Actually thought the flashes of quality showed by Suarez were better than those of Razak, but maybe that's just me. What a shame we're talking about mere glimpses of quality.

Pantilemons had a mare. Jury's still out on him for me, and I nearly shat myself everytime he thought he had time on the ball to clear his lines (though I have had bacterial gastroenteritis for two weeks - anyway - he certainly didn't help).

Who was that lad who came on late on at right back? For the most left footed right back I've ever seen, he looked very competent, for the short time he was given.

Helan is his name and he is a LB by trade which would explain the reliance on the left foot.

Honestly what is Bob doing playing everyone out of position... even the kids!

Helan's been used further forward this season due to his crossing ability. He still looks like he's in his thirties though.

Got to agree with Hazy on this one. From the second tier you can see almost everything and for the first 10 mins Mario put in runs into the channels but after that just started throwing his arms about. Barry (understandably) was leggy Milner couldn`t trap a dead cat in a phone box Kolo just plain wank, Pants was pants Nastajic and Suarez only good thing that came out of the match for me. I think TBH you could tell from the subs made Bobby didnt give a toss, just my opinion.

On a side note its funny how the press/media/wankstains see Bobby as losing it with his outbursts but when Di Canio does the same thing its passion and hes a winner and they`re both Italians acting the same way.

Don't know if its been discussed but I saw the goals today and the OG by Barry looks really weird ! It looked like a striker trying to score by just guiding the ball into the net. He didn't look under any pressure as no one was with him and it looked like he could've easily cleared that ball. Of course all this came from seeing the goal once very quickly on the news with no replays. From those who were at the Etihad, any thoughts ?

In a Championship winning squad do you really belive these players want to be seen as second fiddle?

The youngsters may work hard but without the back-up they are bound to fail.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
