I'm not against us using that system & others, I just think he has dropped a bollock by concentrating on it pre season rather than getting the team unit back together & functioning as it should. It was clear from a pre match interview with Plunty weeks ago, that he wasn't convinced that was the way to go but 'Roberto thinks we don't need to work on..etc etc' .

He has assumed that the players would just carry on where they left off, which they have tbf, because they defended like shite last game of last season. If the penny has now dropped Iexpect we'll see a big improvement over this month & be back to the machine again ready for winter.

I didn't mind him trying it pre-season, as win lose or draw doesn't really matter. It's the fact that he's carried it on and even changed to it in games despite evidence suggesting it'd be a bad idea eg at Madrid when Zab went on and basically went in midfield leaving the left flank open. If Madrid hadn't had anyone on that side you could have understood it, but they had two players tearing down there.
