Personally, I thought he'd done a Ramos at Spurs. Fortunately, it worked.

PS. Anybody seen Paulus?

I also think Dzeko will start against Dortmund - which is why we didn't see as much of him today as we might have expected. (He knows the German game inside out, so it makes sense)

Sigh.

You say this shit every week, but I can think of about 3,000 occasions last season when he failed to attack peachy crosses from Zabs, Clichy and particularly Kolarov.

For me he looks dangerous from dead balls but not when running onto crosses in open play.

He did well for his goal today. He deserves to play more. That's praise, but not blind worship.

Why do you feel for him? If he's a City fan he shouldn't get too hung up on one player not playing every week.

That's his compatriot and I totally understand his support for Dzeko, I think it's normal even though he's a primarily a man.city fan

At Wolfsburg it was the exact opposite. Killer balls were sprayed in by Misimovic (basically an identical player to Stephen Ireland at his best, with an extra 15-20%), and Dzeko just seemed to be there to knock them in. Best example would be a run of 3 or 4 games, with the second(?) being Wolfsburg's demolition of Bayern (5-1, I think). If you can find highlights, watch the games. Wolfsburg scored about 20 goals, with Dzeko scoring about 8 from running onto open play crosses.

He's much better receiving to his feet than his head, though. The fact we're playing against teams who pack their box is massively to the detriment of this part of his gameplay.

Read the actual contents of my posts in this very thread, you moron. I've praised Dzeko and made no comment on Balotelli.

And if you want to play the 'biggest fan' game, let's go for it.

He's not primarily a City fan though. And sorry, it's not normal that someone has so much blind-sighted love for one player. Dzeko has looked good this season, I think most people can admit that. But on so many occasions in the past, he has been poor but Palus can't admit that.

If he had a balanced opinion, people would respect what he had to say. But instead, it's the same, boring, repetitive shite we hear week in, week out. I have no problem saying I wish he would fuck off from this board.

Back to the original point of the thread though - glad to see Dzeko continuing his form. His goal was excellent today.

I can't read his posts, with his lack of punctuation or paragraphs I just ignore them, which is not a language thing, so I had no idea about his obsession.
Fair enough for the honesty, but i couldn't give a shit - you don't have to even read his posts let alone respond to them.
OT, Dzeko has to be our third choice striker, ahead of Balo, think he will defintitely start against Dortmund. Balotelli will be good but is not a team player. RM hauled off Tevez today once he stopped playing for the team and started shooting alot, though it would also have been a legs thing. Got to say, brave substitutions by the manager, especially the last one. Massive respect. Almost got used to feeling frustrated then.

In the match day thread, when Edin scored you wrote "fuck u bob".

Why, when we have just scored a crucial goal, would your first thought be to insult our manager? A true City fan would be delighted that we were about to secure an important 3 points.

You are NOT a City fan. You never have been, and you never will be. All you care about is Edin Dzeko. I'll tell you something now - I like Dzeko, and think he can be a good player for us, but he has been poor on many occasions for us. As a City fan I can admit that, but you can't. You just get pissed off if anyone disagrees with your view.

I don't understand why you just don't set up your own Edin Dzeko message board where you and your friends can talk about him constantly, praise him no matter what, and slag off Mancini when he doesn't start. It would work out well for you as you would never hear anyone saying anything bad about Dzeko, and this board would not have to hear the bullshit you constantly spout week in, week out. I hate getting down to this type of conversation, but seriously, fuck off and go elsewhere.
