No, I don't think that's it. I think people just disagree.

By the way, who are you going to replace them with?

Well if you call them 'rejects' it's going to give people that impression.

What a fucking thick headed post. Lescott was our 1st choice partner for Vinny all last season & played a blinder. Nige was a key member of our Champion squad & both were key members of the side who won the fucking FA Cup, beating the scum in the semi, the season before.

What an absolutely sickening lack of respect for two guys who would both be legends if they had played under Joe Mercer.

I honestly think some of you fucking people don't deserve this team, you really fucking don't.

meanwhile i think you don't deserve a keyboard , you are the english paulus.

Coming from someone who doesn't even support one club.

Easy to understand why you would have no fucking idea what I'm talking about.

whats the problem with supporting one team or two when they are not in the same country pal ?

you could even own a club , if you cannot see how lescott was-is-and will be a weakness then you better support or own a cricket club coz football is not for you.

Oh dear!

Lescott's weakness is his lack of composure on the ball. As for his defensive traits, ie positional sense, tackling ability, aerial ability, strength, he is up there with the best of them. He is susceptible to the odd error every now and again just like any player is.

Clearly football's not for Mancini either seeing as he's been picking him most weeks for 2 & a half years & never once tried to sign an experienced replacement. But I'm sure you can phone him from your armchair & put him straight (so long as our game doesn't clash with the other team you support of course).

You said 'most of' Hughes's signings were 'rejects'. We weren't talking about whether Hughes would have won the title in any way, shape, or form. That discussion was finished on here while you were still supporting Chelsea. It was about the fact that you think that a minimum of 12 of the players that I listed were 'rejects' at the clubs we signed them from.

BiB,

Sorry to be pedantic, as I do agree with your point, but Vieira was signed by Mancini.

You're right, sorry. There may be another one or two extra there, as I couldn't find a definitive list, so just went off seasons from here:

Johnson was also a Mancini buy, after a second look, but was lined up before Mancini arrived, according to the general consensus.

There's certainly an ominous waft of something in the air.

As for Big Nige, I wish we still had him in the squad. I'm sure the defence as a whole would have welcomed his special qualities in front of them, in some of the games we've played this season.

Back on topic, there really is some poor players in that QPR.

I was never his biggest fan when he was here, but Onouha was fucking awful last night and has been most times I've seen him in a QPR shirt.

Regardless of whether Hughes was crap or not when at City, can't we all just agree that he seems to being in the process of fucking it up big time at QPR?

I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
