Always been confident that Big Ed would have proven himself a great asset for City. and half the times I questioned Mancini over the last 12 months have been because of his misuse. We haven't seen the best of him, yet: well apart from some glimpses early last season... ;)

Doesn't seem any different from the Dzeko at the start of last season.

At the start of last season, he was great whilst he started every game, then sulked & did fuck all once he was benched; people making the excuse that his form suffers if he doesn't play every week, when in reality it was because he strolled around giving the ball away when he played.

Nowardays he looks like he's ready to make the most of every opportunity, rather than sulk, which is absolutely what Mancini & the team needs.

Not saying that You haven't half/three quarter of a point, there, Ted.
But big lads need to play as much as possible to stay on form: that's not an excuse, it's always been like that, for most of big strikers, as far as I recall, at least.
