Off Wikipedia. He has Russian nationality, just born in Ukraine. On the list Goaters posted he's listed as Russian as well. So are Zhirkov & Smertin.

It's 11 with Kompany included.

I've been avoiding reading any give away lists but imo, unless Kanchelskis has denounced being Ukrainian, then he is still Ukrainan, even if he then has dual nationality, he would then be Russian as well. He was born in the Ukraine & played for Dynamo Kyiv before going anywhere else, so it's not as if he has no background there either. Unless he has denounced it, he is either fully, or duel nationality, Ukrainian.

Of course Crespo is Argentinian. What was I thinking?!

Zola never won it, I'm quite sure of that. I'd say he left Chelsea in either 2003 or 2004 an they won their first one in 2005.

What if he never took up Ukrainian nationality tho? He had Soviet nationality & then chose Russia. No need to denounce anything, if that was the case.

Place of birth doesn't count, unless the player holds the respective nationality at the time of the title win. Else Canada would be listed (Hargreaves) or Senegal (Vieira, Evra).
