Would make sense because mario and dzeko although good players are not going to score us 30 a season and tevez is a cunt, in a good mood at the minute, but a cunt non the less. I doubt he would come to be the third striker either.

I'm not convinced of the long term futures of Tevez, Dzeko or Balotelli but Tevez has the edge on the other two as he's the only bloke out of the 3 who gets the ball back from Aguero regularly.

Falcao would doulble out shirt sales and add top draw quality and work rate, Have a feeling he will leave for London and Chelsea.

This 100%. Means absolutely nowt in todays football world.

Ian Wright was appaently "nailed on," and Alexis Sanchez too. I remember Geoff Thomas apparently so willing to sign he would walk fom London, but he also stopped at Wolvehampton on the way. Thank god he did btw.

Just seen on 'Newsnow' linked us with Isco, playing for Malaga. I'd forgotton about the speculation about him. A while back, the commentator on a Spanish game claimed that City had just signed 'the hottest young prospect on the Costa De Sol'.

This ticks all the boxes. I recon this is much more likely Mancini's reason for being there than the other two (although if we do offload Dzeko or Mario, we'll deffo be in for Falcao).

Big possibility considering that Roman will dish out as much as he has to get him and
Falcao would only have to compete with Torres (and Sturridge) for the striking role at
Chelsea, and let's be fair..thats not even a competition...whereas here he'd have to compete
with at least Aguero and Tevez/Dzeko/Balo but more than likely against Aguero and 2 others,
which Falcao probably won't enjoy considering he has always been #1 at Porto and now Atletico. Plus,
Chelsea can offer him just as much chance to win trophies and probably similar wages as we can.....

(I still think Tevez might go off somewhere...maybe)

What we need is a big, powerful striker, good with his head, offers us a plan B. Maybe Bobby was there to scout one out.

Just hope he knows what colour Athletico played in, as Malaga had a goal scorer who fits the bill...

Despite Falcao is not the cunt VanPussy (very few can be, tbf), the answer is still the same: we enjoy four of the finest strikers in the world and nobody, bar Messi and (maybe, just maybe) the portoguese transvestite would add significantly to them.

The striking force is not a City issue, a part for, eventually, let them have some sporting psychologist aid in order to improve their cool in front of keepers on massive games.
Let's continue to develop on our existing wealth and just bring on a Hazard like fast forward (Goetze, Muniain) should the opportunity arise.

5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

I respect your opinion but I wholeheartedly disagree.

I firmly believe that Falcao would be a massive upgrade on Balo, to be sure.

You may have the point there.
when City was dealing with Inter milan I posted that it was a weird gamble to be taken by the manager of the Club who 3/4ths of the football world are desperate to see failing.
Once said that, and providing that the Dzeko case shows how difficult is to keep 3/4 world class strikers in form, I'd keep Mario as a very top 4th striker any day of my life, looking forward to see if, when he will be 27 (5 years ahead), he will have become better than Tranny or rented the white room left by Sid Barrett

When Balo is Falcaos age he will be a better player. We don't rely on Balo so it's not really an issue.

Balo played out wide on Saturday and I thought he looked good. Not great, but good. He was up for it and he put in a shift. That's all you can ask.

I was there and right in front of the East stand was as you say Balo, he was poor from start to finish, His first touch allowed players to get stuck into him as Gardner did a midfielder playing Right back.Link up play with Carlos Tevez amounted to nothing, he needs to go IMHO for the sake of himself and the cred of Mancini, WHO MUST BE THINKING THE SAME NOW. Falcao is a team player, who would be imo the player that wins the league for us or Chelsea.

Bold statement. He has got natural talent to be best striker in the world but he is already 22 (look at what worlds best strikers where doing at that age) and still hasn't found any sort of consistency. In fact, it seems like he has regressed somewhat. I'm personally willing to give up on him and sell him back to Italy. No hater mind. Just don't think it's going to happen for him with us.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Sadly I think this is spot on. His 1st season was very patchy, last season he shined at times, in the euros he did well in two games and for us he seems back to 1st year form so far this season.

Clinical finisher at times, but my biggest gripe is how little he creates for himself or others. Tevez, dzeko, Aguero all do something other than score that makes them more viable.

Tevez works his arse off and can create his own chances as well as defend.

Aguero links up with Tevez, silva, yaya etc and keeps us fluid.

Dzeko provides Ariel threat and allows the others to drop deep with the defenders feeling ok to follow.

Balo scores, gets sent off or subbed.

Ok, I'm not particular fan of Falcao. Not at all. Having said that, I don't see much difference. And I have no idea whether Falcao was taking penalties for whoever he played for but many of Mario's goals are penalties.

i love mario but no great striker would have fluffed that chance he had in italy's opening game of the euros vs spain...

ok, so he may have come back from that and had a decent tournament but those 5 seconds showed where his game/mind is lacking.
