Tbf to Bale, he jumped to protect himself as it looked like Guzan was about to take a swing. As long as he doesn't roll around afterwards & the ref sees it for what it is, I don't have a problem with it.

He didn't roll around, he just laid there staring appealingly at the ref for five minutes.

Most players who dive don't roll around at all. With the inception of the yellow card and bad publicity they now tend to just fall and let the ref make the decision. That way they don't look as much of a cunt and they can say they weren't appealing for it.

Sir John,
I never said there's no corruption, Pal. Just that the League ain't blatantly fixed as Serie A is.
The massive bias and favouritism that rags had acquired before referees and FA thanks to the constant media hype they are enjoying since the establishment of Sky's football league does not constitute a proper fixing in itself, rather than yet another example of the huge support/favoritism that almost every dominant Club, with massive public following, who in turn buy loads of papers and media shares, do enjoys. I genuinely do not think for a moment that Torino F.C. (for an instance) would have been permitted to kick off the last game of the season having just to win home to be Champions, as City was last year.

You'd remember that last season I was perceived to be one of those spreading the "conspiracy theory" on the forum, so hardly whiter than white, just believing that the English League is the last place where the Best are still allowed to succeed despite "the powers that be". or at least that's the kid on me still romantically linked with the idea of English fair play which I felt in love with, many years ago.
The FA handling of this Van Pussy "incident"is challenging my childhood dreams, though.... ;)
but yet again, as the rule demand the ultimate decision to the statement of "what the referee would have done if he had see it properly" I think I can still believe that the League ain't fixed rather than just a single (Howard_theFergiescumslave_Webb) is corrupt, or at least very prone to please the Master.

hope You might succeed in following the above - very convoluted and poorly spelled - line of reasoning.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

. . . so let's just swallow our pride and pay Webb more than whiskey face is (obviously) paying him ; we can afford it - surely.

Mancio,
My comment was slightly tongue in cheek mate.

But something you should know about the British...we...well not we....but those that are corrupt are very good at it. They have had hundreds of years experience at it. The art was perfected centuries ago and it has been passed down from generation to generation.

The incorruptible are so corrupt and have been for so long that it is now acceptable as normal. Week after fucking week, the same shite and nobody makes a noise about what they can so obviously see under their noses.

Eeeeeeeeeees normal.

I blame Mancini... And every other manager who didnt stick up for Martinez the other week!

Last weekend we won but the ref was still shit, the perfect opportunity for Mancini to come out with a statement slamming the shit corrupt bastards without it sounding like sour grapes because we won easily.

Martinez was spot on yet those shiney arse m word cunts at the FA took the piss out of him by punishing him for telling the truth, United fans are laughing at him and pussies like Mancini and co are to blame for not supporting him. Its like a union, if all managers stook together in times like this rather than moaning one at a time when they have their own personal injustice then it wouldnt be treated as bitterness over an isolated incident.

IMO - because they felt they best not charge those whilst letting rvp off - they benefitted from the FA seeking to deflect further criticism after Webb lept to the the support of the scum - there would have been ongoing comparisons had those players been charged whilst rvp not

You might accuse me of peddaling conspiracy theories - I accept that charge

Yeah my Lord,
next time when we'll - hopefully - share a curry, i'll tell You of the massive lesson I learnt by my Menthor of then, at Lloyd's.
None have stirred the art of trading as lenghty as the most creative Brits: that's an historical fact.
