here's a view from over the water about the Dortmund game - Eamon Dunphy, Johnny Giles, Liam Brady and somebody called Bill - well rehearsed?

Fucking haters. What they are saying is true but that's just an accident.

AT THE MINUTE we don't have a team, we don't have any shape, we are looking like a bunch of individuals and we are not good enough.

But none of those gypsy fuckers are talking about our current dip. That's just what they think of city in general.

The best bit was - "manchester city just don't have any swagger, not like Manchester United have swagger when they play"

I should have put it on the Conspiracies/Agenda thread but the quotes that stood out for me were "a penalty unfortunately" and "the donkey Garcia"...it's utterly amazing these jokers appear week in week out to spout this propaganda.

Fucking amazing - do they have broadcasting standards over there? - CITY have obviously upset their scum love-fest

The guy on the right was 'off-the-scale' in his clear hatred for CITY - and it is interesting the way the media (generally) would just love to see Mancini out - they are desperate for another CITY merrygoround rather than stability

I need to do some digging and get some footage of them after 13/05 - I bet they were fucing choking

I'd heard via text at half time during the dortmund game from a rag that rte were giving us a right going over. I was obviously watching it on sky because I know what they are like towards city.
Well, it's not so much a hatred of city, more through their love of united.

Thing is, I love watching them for anyone else's champions league matches because they normally get into a heated debate which is what real football fans do, unlike motd where they all agree and move on.

It's a rag island so herein lies the answer.

As for them beint gypsies and drunks, I'd say that as as likely as your family being the same ashton. I'm not calling your family drunken gypsies mind, just saying that generalisation is a bit silly.

I'm still a little shocked by that. I can understand their love for the Rags but to throw out so much bile against Mancini made me wonder if all of the Emerald Isle was Rag infested. How they can say 'We play as individuals' as if it has been happening all the way through Mancini's reign is ridiculous, have they erased what we have achieved over the last couple of years, or is that the problem? Then the 'Unfortunate' comment that we got a penalty just summed their thoughts up. They want Mancini out because it spoils their cozy little gloating bullshit, luckily there's Chelsea this year to help put the fuckers down.

Just glad we don't have to watch things like that over here, there's no way I could watch 4 old crooners spitting fire at my club like that. It's like MotD on viagra.

You're giving the bitter little scrotum look a like what he wants. He is an attention seeking drama queen that will say anything to provoke a reaction and then five minutes later will completely contradict what he just said.

If he saw this thread and the reaction he's getting he'd be pulling the plum off himself over it.

Ignore the cunt.

Ah the Rte panel it cant be beat for entertainment value. I havent seen the above as dont have sound at the mo but they have done the same with every team over the years its not just us they slate everyone, rags ireland england pretty much anyone, no one takes it serious its only a bit of fun, i wouldnt be worrying about it at all.

The boys esp Dunphy love to give Ronaldo a hard time, even when with united they slate him week in week out. Its funny.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just watched them there.

Fucking hell they were especially bad. Far worse than usual.

The funny thing is they kept saying you cant win anything when you have no spirit and no team etc.

About a team that won the fa cup, followed by a premier league title won with the greatest spirit ever seen in a premier league season.

They also say they have "never seen city dominate a good team". After a season where we scored ELEVEN goals in old trafford and white hart lane alone.

It's actually embarrassing for them. Just a shame nobody was there to point it out.

Dunphy constantly contradicts himself, not deliberately, he's a half-wit. Generally, I wouldn't get overly exercised about this lot as they like to emote rather than engage their brains.

If that's what you've got to listen too during a City match, I don't understand why anybody would want to watch it. I suppose it's a free channel though, better than a kick in the teeth.

At least, as somebody says, they are the same with all clubs. I presume the Rags/Dippers etc get the same bile?

Mate I don't watch rte for city champs league games. I watch sky or utv. I even watch sky or utv for commentary on other game but flick over to rte for the half time rants. They really do have some brilliant rows with each other...

But that shit was just plain silly and embarrassing.

What they like with the Rags, Dippers and Arsenal, do you know?

I still think, even though it was only 1-0, we were much more dominant in the home game. The most dominant performance I have seen against a prem side aswell. We were absolutely bossing everything. First to every loose ball, pressure the second they got hold of it, complete possession, isolated their strikers to the point that hart didn't have a single save to make.

I'm sure john68 will second me when i say that Giles always hated us, we used to get on his case every game at Maine Rd., against Leeds. the little dirty git often got away with bad tackles. i am however surprised at Liam Brady, i always had him as a reasonable guy. i guess this is what happens when there are too many tv channels. At least there's always the volume button and the 'Off' switch
