How do you explain away the positives. Did he not prove a central strikers role tonight?

It's not though is it? He has had many good games over the 2 and a bit years, he has had games where he's done nothing but score and he's had games that he's done nothing in.
Only 5 players outscored him last season in all competitions.
Van Persie (37)
Rooney (35)
Aguero (30)
Dempsey (23)
Yakubu (18)
and every single one of them more or less started every single game, Mario didn't, he was suspended, taught a lesson or injured. Now imagine what he would be like without any of them excuses, it's scary. The question is, is it worth waiting for and in my opinion without a shadow of doubt. We can afford to both financially and patiently. If he was expected to be the main man then the answer would be no because he still can't be trusted but when you have Tevez, Aguero and Dzeko in your squad you can afford to have someone like Balotelli who you know will act stupid but still get you 17 goals. Name another 4th choice striker by attitude and performance who gets that many goals, there is none.

PS. Where's Ted, has someone upset him?

He is what now, 22 years old, and with all respect to any blue who disagrees with this point, he does NOTHING on the pitch which justifies the indulgence he is afforded by the manager. He is good at penalties, beyond that, he brings nothing at all to the table.
Have wanted him to succeed, but he just doesnt look like he wants to succeed. He is in his 3rd season and by the end of this year you will have been able to count his good games on one hand unless something changes.
If an offer came in, we would be fucking mental not to take it

What an absolutely ridiculous question.

Why? People say Yaya doesnt work hard enough, people say we should drop our captain, people say that Barry is too slow, or that Lescott is shit, so what makes you think that Balo shouldn't be questioned?

Balo does not have the fire in his belly to do that for us, He can torment Pique for the Italians, as we saw in the Euro's and be a threat. For us he is marked by big and daft defenders and runs the risk of a red card in almost every game I see him. Time to accept his time is up, I hope he proves me wrong. My son loves him for his attitude I depair with him for his attitude, suppose that is an age thing. Calmness on a last min penalty you cannot buy, Ready to kill someone during the game for the slightest injustice or tackle. I think he owes us he acts like we owe him something for being here.

Agreed. I can't stand seeing him act like a child anymore. The lack of hustle makes me sick....not to mention when he subs he goes to the tunnel like a 5 year old. Bye bye for 30 or less I say.

Anymore? Was there a time when you could stand it?
