Shrek doesn't look interested, must've had his orders from Taggart to get himself subbed. And why won't he head the ball, scared of losing hiis syrup?

Infact it looks like Roy has switched Cleverley and Rooney.

Not watching the game but from the BBC it is apparent that Rooney has been brilliant and City boys absolute shite

On the England Goal

Liam Stones on Twitter: "Brilliant header from Wayne Rooney."

Rafeef El Jumaili on Twitter: "Gerrard defending, dictating and decision making! Goal for England!"

JP Dumas on Twitter: "By the way the game has gone, it had to be a set piece for England to score. Well taken Mr Rooney."

On the Poland Goal

Matthew Richardson on Twitter: "What on earth was Joe Hart doing there?! Useless!"

Joe Blackmore on Twitter: "Every time Joe Hart pulls on an England shirt he loses all confidence. Woeful goalkeeping."

Robert Payne on Twitter: "Hart and Lescott at fault there. Dreadful defending and no communication. Conceding at set pieces at this level is unforgivable."

It was shite by Hart though. If he is coming all that way he has to make it or at least effect the play.

Saying that he can do that all day for England as long as he us tip top for City i dont care.

I just hope the rags all play better 2nd half or Lescott will have to be crucified in order to hide it.

It looks like Roy saw what actually happened - Cleverley seems to have been instructed to cover Cole more, and Rooney is coming left as well.

Ashley Cole's game actually fell completely to pieces today.

In conditions like that, of course people slip, they get caught off the mark, they miscontrol a few, they misjudge a few but Cole did pretty much everything wrong for 90 mins.

When you see the fucking state of some of these characters like Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, etc and how their game often falls to bits as soon as there's a bit of longer grass or mud on a pitch, you realise how much better the likes of Best, Law, Charlton, Bell, Lee, Summerbee actually were. These blokes are fitter but other than that, they're nowhere anywhere near it.

Ted, those names should not be mentioned in the same paragraph.

Neither had bad games - compare their entire performances to Cleverley and Carrick and tell me the City boys played poorly. It will be a different story in the press though, because they were both near the ball when we conceded.

Good to know. Didn't watch the game but read some of the press after and read that Lescott and Hart had poor games so i went by that.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.
