The next Drogba? Dunno but there are similarities and it's easy to see why some are making comparisons between them

Yes there are similarities. Both really strong players, who can hold the ball up well.

Lukaku doesn't seem to want to fall on his arse every 5 minutes which is a good sign though.

I agree with the rest of your post as well but wanted to highlight this part as I (either) just don't get it

I'm not sure if it was the bad stream I was watching but I didn't see Lescott do much wrong, nothing too obvious anyway. All players, every single one of them, make mistakes during a game but I don't remember seeing any of Lescott's leading to a goal.

Can anybody answer, I'd like to know if he was at fault for the first, I can't seem to picture him being involved?

To me the WB goal was a fluke goal. And if I remember correctly Kompany were closer to Long and was probably the one who should have picked him up.

Cheers mate, I knew I wasn't losing it.

LESCOTT WAS FUCKIGN USELESS......ABSOLUTE CUNT.

GET IN EDIN YOU FUCKIGN BISCUIT.

Lescott looked out on his feet at the end - couldn't get close to Lukaku and Odemwingie.

He and Kompany were poor again.

Lescott is a liability at the moment. Bring Micah inside and play Zabba. I think that's our best defensive line as it stands. Kompany not great but we have no other options now.

I think we should try Milner & Hart there.

I knew You were great in assessing football. Now I can see You features top humour, too.
we would be incomparably poorer if Carl wasn't Carl, though.

[strike]Vinnie carried the ball too much, while guessing what to do with it, when initially had several easy options for a simple pass and got caught under pressure.[/strike] EDITED: lost in confusion with the Milner senting off... ;)
We will have our skipper back at his form soon. I am certain of it.

I'd also like to stress - very much - the point that we bossed the pitch all game long, one man down, and so accident like that can happen once a game.

I thought Mario did look hungry today, that's why he was on the verge of being sent off. Also, I'd expect nothing other from Dzeko, especially with fresh legs.

I think everybody worked their socks off today and considering we were down to 10 men quite early I'd suggest the stats will show how well, and how much effort, was put in.

He tends to get a bit too enthusiastic at times when he's working hard, I thought Bob would have had him up top on his own at the start of the second half with orders to not do too much tackling, then let Tevez do his thing deeper while helping the midfield out.

On the highlights I'm sure I saw Balo about a yard behind Dzeko. I get the point though.

He went off after 60 mins, are you sure it wasn't Micah?

Yeah your right Daamerto, highlights weren't great quality, I just saw a black guy and assumed it was Mario in that position.

I was busy scoring 2 goals myself today, against a semi pro side nonetheless. World class I am.

Just watched Norwich-Arsenal. Grant Holt, as usual, looked VERY hungry. The fat bastard.

I've just had the same, once I pointed out the facts (that he was a dick) he turned to bashing Arsenal. I turned to praising Norwich.

I just said that's why the match is 90+ minutes and not 80 or 85.

He also said something about "we'll see in March" Obviously I brought up playing until the final day....like last season.

I suggest you and the milky bar kid watch the whole match again and see just how fuckign bad Lescott was all match , he must thank his lucky stars that Kompany gives him competition for being the worst fuckup at the back otherwise even you two numpties would see just how bad he is.

Having said that City have developed a real "never say die" attitude and its getting us results , teams are shit scared of us when we break - its going to be us and Chelsea right to the wire imo.

Just saw the game as I had a tournament and wasn't able to watch it.

To sum it up:

- I think we're back (in terms of our game)
- Balotelli - worries me (i hoped his attitude would have changed by now)
- Lescott - poor (too slow)
- Kompany - wtf?
- Dzeko, Tevez and Aguero thumbs up...

Overall, with 10 players we played well!!!
