The question is if all our (that is all our premier league players from QPR up to City + rags and the KGB) were English what would be your first team?

Er...i think he meant if all OUR players were eligible for England...the ours denotes City players only surely? Not every player in the premier league, cos that'd be an entirely different question, surely?

Cos it could easily have been a 'which City players do you reckon could get in the England team? Presuming they were eligible?' question? If he was a football fan and not a prick, then chances are he might just have discussed it normally and not have arrogantly presumed Liverpools players were involved, and after that then they might have done the same for the Liverpool squad? Perfectly plausible.

If im wrong and its just a case of 'which players of any nationality from any team in the premiership could get in the england team' then its a stupidly worded question, in my opinion. We're basically just debating the best XI in the premiership so i'd have no idea what the English national team would have to do with it? It seems irrelevant. You may as well just ask 'If you could take an XI from every premier league team who would be in it?'
