He's back !

Good old Javi Garrido and apparently played a screamer for Norwich against the Arse which merited his inclusion in Garth Crooks's team of the week on BBC Sport. Joe and Edin were also included.

Always liked the lad.

LEFT-BACK - JAVIER GARRIDO, NORWICH

An excellent performance from the Norwich full-back. He more than played his part in reducing the Gunners to very few chances - it is not that often that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger congratulates the defensive performance of the opposition.
Did you know? Helped prevent Arsenal scoring for the first time in six Premier League games.

Crooks also put Sterling, Mata and Hazard in a three man midfield. Good old Garth Crooks, the insufferable bastard.

I presume you don't agree with his choices ? I didn't see the Liverpool match, so I can't comment but can't see why Hazard and especially Mata should not be included !

You'd play them in a three man central midfield? REALLY? Who's holding? Sterling? Hazard and Mata gonna track back? lol.

I don't think mr crooks goes that scientific in his approach... A midfielder is a midfielder as far as he is concerned

That's the problem with a 'team of the week'. You'll always pick the stand out midfielders and ignore the need for the Barry type to actually get the ball back.

It was Crooks who had an article on the BBC website where he said that Hodgson should pick West Brom's James Morrison - after a screenshot had been emailed around the Beeb quickly took that section out!

Poor old Garrido getting lost in this topic, i think he was a decent player always thought he was under rated, he was better than bridge but got shafted, hes prob a better defender than kolorov aswell, hes just a tad slow. Has a great free kick on him, surprised no club snapped him up before now.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
