So the day is nearly upon us we set out tomorrow (well I actually start tonight) in what is set to be an epic trip I feel.

I'm super excited about this one I love Amsterdam as it is and I've always wanted to watch city play Ajax. Roger is still shitting it about being in the wrong end the marde arse.

FFS - been stuck at Heathrow for 5 hours now - some fuck up meant that I could not get on the 1315 flight - - still some things are helped by Aspall cider and Peroni - should be off at 1800 and (hopefully) a long night beckons - have I missed any comments on where MCFCFANS are intending to meet up?

just back to my hotel - which seems an early night - but I think things start to close down a bit not too long from now.

My hotel - purely my chance - turned out to be smack in the middle of the red light district - got here late due to flight fuck ups- but at that time there was a fair CITY crowd outside the 'old sailor' watching other matches.

It was still going strong 20 mins ago - bit I hope they stay well behaved 'cos there was an army of police around if not.

Hope tomorrow goes superbly for us - fuck we need it to

Never been amsterdam before mate, where are the likely congregating spots to enjoy a,pint or several during the day without getting filled in off the ob

As for things closing down, fucking hope not - we didnt bother with a hotel tomorrow night, was gonna stay out n ha e a few beers til 2-3 then make out way back to the airport and crash there till morning as the flight back is 8.30

To find that area take a line from the station to the big ferris wheel down at dam square and after 300 yards go left - and follow the noise.

Sure there will be other meeting places - but probably nearby as well as this is pretty central

Good bar over 3 floors is la cana. Head towards damsquare from central station and take a right where the grasshopper is on the left. This takes you to the shopping area tuen left and la cana is a couple of mins walk. Pool tables and televisions and different activities :-) ground floor is smoke free too. not been for a while so hope my memory is right. Enjoy

I'm tired ,ill, headache, handed it back on the ferry, and had that fat bastard leaning on me all the way from the port to amsterdam. He looked gayer than a gaylord.
