Man Of The Match

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Oct 27, 2012 6:59 pm

Myself, I'd go for Tevez as I thought he was the driving force. However, I thought Nasri really asked the question.

2 choices or you, only because I thought therewas a second.

Carlos was really good in the second half, but both he and Aguero were under performing in the first half.
I went with Hart, who had some really nice saves.

Tevez is the only choice as far as I'm concerned.

Superb performance.

And not just because he scored the only goal

My vote goes to tevez and balo, thought balo was great for that second half and gave us the tempo and edge that we severely lacked

Mario was a god send and I've got to give credit to Mancini for introducing him. Overall though, Joe did the biz and Carlos squared it away.

what about giving credit to mancio, who anticipated the move at ht, instead?

on top. I went obviously for tevez for all he did before the decider, starting with the hugs tour before kick off.
If we have 3 pts. under the belt, thou, it's up to Joe. Otherwise, I regret we would have had nil [had we gone 1 down with the current bunch of scared pussies]

Joe or Carlos for me so I went for Carlos. Some great work and of course the goal.

I was happy with Mario in that second half but the change in performance was all about the team pressing higher up and he was one of that team.I don't think he did anything of real note.Had a shot blocked, good break when he went round the keeper but then messed it up,held the ball up a couple of times, did well to win a corner with a determined run late on.Maybe could have had a penalty but it did look as though he tried for it too hard on the only slowmo I have seen.Worked hard tho.

Tevez. Not only did he produce a bit of magic to win us the game, at one point in the second half he covered for Richards at right-back as Richards was meandering back up the pitch. His overall contribution was excellent.

Tevez for me , his determination effort and performance and of course the goal in the second half is what won us the match imo.

Tevez without question for me, even without his goal he was a clear winner through his sheer hard work and endeavour. Clichy also deserves a mention as he was still chasing hard in the 100th and odd minute of the game and had another solid game.

Tevez but Balo deserves a special mention. A bit stroppy but really put a shift in and upped the tempo.
