After a thrilling game down at Stamford Bridge, here's your chance to pick the Man of the Match.

Beefy - fair play - and I have course have gone for Twattenburg

Point of order in your formation - the game is about tactics after all

The limitation you placed by only providing 11 options meant I had to play him out of position on the right - when we all know that he is really performs best as 12th man

Has to be Clattenburg for me. Given he's been out for more than a year, I thought he played a blinder. That little - and obviously dishonest - yellow card for Valencia near the end was a nice touch, and sealed a beautiful performance. Well done Mark, see you in December for the Derby.

Chelsea have made am official complaint to the Premier League regarding the inappropriate language Clattenburg used towards some of their players during the match.

This could get interesting.

Bugger, you're right. Should've though of that ;-)

Obviously I was taking the piss but it does open the thread up to peoples thoughts on todays game regarding Clattenburg. We all know he hasn't ref'd the Rags for just over a year now (what an amazing day that was) and then comes out with those decisions.

To quantify that, Young would've been through on goal if it weren't for the slightest touch by Ivanovich (and to be truthful, I couldn't see the touch on replay). The ref gives a red and I have no problems. Then, Torres would've been through on goal if it weren't for the slightest touch by Evans (and to be truthful, I could see the touch on replay) yet to very differing results. Why, they were exactly the same, slight touch, player goes down?

Then, to throw even more confusion into the debate, Valencia is fouled yet he gets a yellow card. Why did Clattenburg feel the need to sanction Valencia instead of Mikel, who obviously committed the foul? I'll tell you why, it's because it can now be perceived that he was being fair handed and consistent with his judgements whereas the truth is he got them completely wrong. Or, in his book, completely right.

When you see performances like that there is very little left to doubt with regard to who controls the game. Chelsea, who had took control of the game, looked to me to be going on to win it; United were all over the place. This would've put Chelsea 7 points ahead of the Rags with a far better team and I don't think, even at this early stage, that the Rags could pull that back without some outside (or inside, depending on your take) interference.

It happened last season, it's happening again this. It's amazing that nobody asks the question, never mind looking for the truth.

That is interesting. Did he give himself a second yellow?

Apparently he's gone up to Hazard and Cole after the rags third and said, "Have that you pair of cunts! That fuckin assist from me is the best you will see all season long!"

You have to wonder about the honesty of it all after that performance especially as I seem to remember he was investigated for possibly being involved with far eastern betting syndicates. He'll be involved in the foundations of a Russian skyscraper if Roman finds that to be the case

I went for Clattenburg. Was a little disappointed that both Clattenburg and Clattenburg have recieved no votes yet though. Apart from the odd outburst of flagrant bigotry, I thought they did well.

I went for Clattenburg. Has been U***d best striker by far.
the manager has to be chuffed with his comeback since last season.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

I've gone for the number 9 although several other clattenburgs could easily have won it.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
