He didn't say that's WHY they booed he said that's WHEN they booed.

I'd imagine people were booing because the players looked like they could care less.

As Nigels Tackle suggested; some fans save a lot of their monthly wage so they can go to City and work their life around the club.

Apologies Mase and Wiganblue - was reading/typing quickly on my phone and misread!

I still don't think booing ever helps a team. I understand people spend a lot of money to follow City and we all want to win, but do people who boo honestly think that they're going to inspire the team to improve through booing?

At half time as they walk off , absolutely it does. The players were embarrassing till after the break and deserved the booing.

Why shouldn't it? If it is happening every week then no, it will be counter-productive. But as a one-off, as this has been, then yes. See carl's post above.

Why are you so ready to accept mediocrity and a lack of effort without even voicing an opinion?

I was at the bar so I am unsure what type of fan I am now as I didn`t boo but didn`t wait for the half tome whistle. However in my defence I managed to get 2 pints quickly and stayed to the full time whistle.

I think it's absolutely brilliant, as is leaving early. It really lets the players know what type of fans we are.

you never booed us as reigning champions, top three in the league, protecting an unprecedented unbeaten home run did you?
That's what some twats did this week

I would rather fuckign boo shite half arsed performances...as my old man said...a kick up the arse gets better results.

BTW..we won 1 nil after the booing at half time.

I can understand those that booed after paying their hard earned cash when we were generally shite. Booing this current side, even when occasionally poor, is risible in the extream imo, each to their own thou, sad feckers
