In your opinion a kick up the arse is not what is needed ??? I have that right yes?

Ok then..PMSL....I love it.

in my opinion a kick up the arse doesn't "get better results".
Laugh away coach, but you're wrong

That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

I have had over 1000 employees working for me and I kicked their arses on a regular basis..I got mega results in financials and I still get them.
Heres a lesson for you to ponder........do your job and you will get praise , slack off and you will get a kick up your arse. City play well and we clap you off at half time , City players decide to fuck around not doing their job properly we boo them.

Its how life is Alex , its how it works in the real world.

Im still laughing btw.

I'm right on the fence in this regard. This is an entertainment business is it not. Thats why it costs money to watch and players get played to play. If a paying fan believes he is not getting entertained he should have it in his own right to let the payed players know. On the other hand i do feel its imperative that you support your team at all cost. Now as for the 1st half of the game on Saturday i was right pissed off at the garbage that we witnessed and felt like a kick up the ass was definitely what was needed for these players, I mean we aren't talking about Jon Macken quality type players are we. At the emotional level I was at, I might have joined in on the boo just to get it out. But I would have much rathered been in that locker room kicking shit around at players and giving them the hair dryer treatment. The latter is not an option and clapping them off the field wasn't either so there you have it. Mind you if I was close to any of the players as they came off, they would definitely have gotten a good fuckin off. Slate me I'm an emotional fanatic.

You're dead right about the emotion, and on Saturday the booing stopped as quick as it started when people "caught themselves on". I think you've got to ask whether if we'd started booing after 85 minutes on 13th May as we saw the title slipping away if we would have got a better result.

If they played with their guitars out of tune and the lead singer didn't finish all his lyrics on songs because he couldn't be arsed then they'd probably deserve it.

difference is that on 13th may, the players were giving their all. 20+ shots in wave after wave of attack.... that same effort/desire wasn't there on saturday or vs ajax

Noope again (when will the penny drop?)
The majority of ANY succesful manager is when they adopt the praise and kick arse mentality.....You obviously belong in the "come to jesus meeting" when a fuckup continues to be a fuckup and then you refer that person to counselling and maybe a day trip to disney land.....I understand that some companies get run by this mentality (not many mind) I cannot see Donald trump and the like adopting that mentality any day soon...having said that he is not a prime example to give.

Do some research ALEX....mine is based on working and going into business with like minded successful owners /Directors/managers of multi million dollar companies.

I like Earl grey and Jaffa cakes.

I heard no booing, all the way up in my 3rd tier nest by all the foreign cameras.. however, I would condemn that act. Be it for the sake of dignity alone. Who the fuck wants to sound like a rabble of plebs making the most carnal of noises, when, orchestrating a full-stadium chant to get everyone lifted would be both far more appealing on the ears and for de boys on the pitch!

To summise,

Jaffa cakes are the best biscuits out there and a kick up the arse is needed to ensure success as Im sure Mancini will agree.(maybe not on the jaffa cake issue but definately on the kick up the arse one).
