Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

3 City players nominated for ballon d'or

Postby Green & Blue » Mon Oct 29, 2012 3:30 pm

Mario is one of them ??

That is a surprise. Why always him?

It really is something else to have our players on the shortlist.

Surprised Vinny and Joe didn't make the list. Both more deserving than Mario IMO.

When it comes to ballon awards how Felix Baumgartner has been omitted is a mystery

don't forget Scapuzzi and Mancini's son.
they truely ruin football

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

as long as Tranaldo comes third the rest doesn't matter
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

How has shrek made the list and silva hasn't. He only won the premiership and euros last season - what did the fat granny shagger win?

God only knows i suppose Fifa had to have at least one United player in the mix, it's probably an unwritten rule.

Alan Hansen will be squirming at the news that Mario has made the shortlist.

Would think Mario got in for his Euro performances. If he played like that for us, we would be happy for him to be chosen

Spoiler alert.

Messi wins.

That list is bollocks anyway. Mario, Rooney, ibrahimabitch, Buffon, neymar and ANY barca defender shouldn't be on it. (on account of barca playing against division 2 rate strikers 9 games out of 10)

They pick it by playing 2 season's on FIFA and seeing which team they end up with.

I say this jokingly but it could quite possibly be the truth.

That's what would worry me particularly if Pep took over here. They get away with murder.

They should just have an award for Messsi & one for others imo. Even if you put Messi on a bad day & Ronaldo at his absolute best, Messi still runs him close. Ronaldo on a bad day isn't fit to lace Messi's boots.

They may give it Ron to shut him up though.
