stuart brennan just been on talkshite and said if we win our last 3 games we qualify.im not sure thats right.if madrid v dortmund is a draw, and we beat madrid, and dortmund beat ajax, we beat dortmund and madrid beat ajax, assuming we win tonight.

2) Goal difference in all group games.
3) Highest number of goals scored in all games.

If we're winning the last three games it should be a done deal. Assuming Madrid and Dortmund both win their games against Ajax; the following will be the case.

Madrid-Dortmund. Draw: City 10 p, Madrid 10p. City clear to go through on all wins against Madrid except 2-1. If we win 2-1 the goal difference in all group games will decide. Right now they are 5 goals ahead of us.

Madrid-Dortmund. Madrid Wins: City 10p, Dortmund 10p. City through based on results against Dortmund (1 W, 1 D).

Madrid-Dortmund. Dortmund Wins: City 10p, Real 9p. City through.

Thanks for that. Hopefully after today's game we will still be in a situation where those matter. Personally I have a feeling that we will do 'OK' in the last champs league games but it will not quite be enough to go through to next round.

It's backs against the wall situation where we have to win all games and hope other results fall our way. It's exactly the same situation we were in at the end of the last EPL season and we excelled in that situation.
Hope our lads and Bob can find the same spirit that brought us the Championship. It's doable and if don't get there, then it's fine, provided we give it all we have.
A good thumping of Ajax tonight will be a good start.

I honestly thought we would have beat them easily away, but was left disappointed.
Tonight I'm hoping everything clicks and we state our intention very early. If we do that I can see a 4-0 win. If not, it could be another upset.
